I think SDS needs to change how we get to use hitting Captains. You can get the pitching boost with out ever needing to use the pitcher but the hitting captain needs to be in the starting lineup. It does not seem balanced when you have to use a significantly worse card in your lineup. I think one of two things need to change. Either the captain cards need to be increased to at least 98's. The other option would be to either let us utilize the hitting captains on the bench or immediately let us sub them out. If you allow us to sub them out it costs us a bench spot to use them so there is a cost. The way it sits now Captain usage will go down. Using a theme team is a massive disadvantage having such a low overall in your lineup. Given this is for online ranked if you are offline the current situation does not matter.

Shouldn't Cutch count for the boost since he played in 2009? Maybe I am missing something.

@urbanphilosophy This is my feeling exactly. Now I cant get 100% binder and potentially will miss out on more cards in the future.

I was looking at the "core" BR ones. I was thinking 99 Wright would be a collection for WBC when they were announced honestly. I just want to get that out now.

I think the issue with Captains is that most of the cards as flawed and their boost only magnifies where they are better, making the flaws more glaring. I feel they would be more useful if you could pick attributes that would get boosted. You pick Contact or Power, Clutch or Discipline and Vision, Fielding and Reaction or Arm Strength, Arm Accuracy and Speed for Hitters. Pitchers can have K/9 or H/9, Stamina or BB/9 and clutch.
Does not need to be a huge boost but this would make them more playable.

We have to be getting a WBC collection soon right? I mean these cards have been out for a while and should be winding down. SDS has to have a collection for it.

Don't go trying to make sense of made up attributes. If you, do this all falls apart.

This is a much needed quality of life update. I assume they could add this fairly easily/quickly

No sorry, guess pitch as 0 place in online competitive play. No free information see the ball out of the hand and track it.

Can we please get a larger batters eye for the cheesers who play there will white sky's? They know they are doing it, they are the same ones who played there and only used lefty pitchers when sds had the sign with white print by the batters eye.

Giving up rockets on balls way out of the strike zone along with the increase in very late/early hits. That is tied with the down tick in exit velo this year.
