For some reason the created player "change-up" pitch speed stuck at 84 and wont change no matter what the 3 pitch rating sliders are set to.

Can we get get more realistic pitch movement. Some more exaggeration would help especially when compared to what real life pitches look like side by side. Nowadays the pitchers with the most movement looks more like a whiffle ball but the games seems nore toned down.

In franchise mode, created players aren't able to have a slow pitch ( change-up,slurve etc.) outside of 84mph. No matter where in the arsonal I put the pitch 1-5 the game won't change the speed from no matter where I move the pitch speed slider for the created player. I'm thinking about waiting to buy the newest title until important details like this are addressed. I still lobe the game though

Being able to continue your franchise year to year HAS to be back this year. This is maybe the most important thing to me personally.
What do you mean? You can only okay franchise mode for one year?
Or did they use to have the option to continue with the same franchise when the new game released?
Both Road To The Show and Franchise used to allow you to carry over your saves from the previous version of the game. They removed it this year.
Big mistake in my opinion. Some RTTS and franchise players in the middle of their progression may choose to just not buy next year and keep playing the current version so that they can continue instead of starting over.
That's what I plan to do in franchise if the pitching isn't fixed. To me that's honestly the heart of the game. If the pitching (PvP, PvCPU and CPU vs CPU) doesn't change for the better why buy the "new" game?

The breaking balls need more movement in my opinion.Breaking pitches seem to move with more exaggeration in real life (more so with great pitchers) than in the game. It would be great to see some real life knee buckling from nasty sliders and such. I remember mlb 2k used to be good at reproducing the movements and
I'm a firm believer The Show should borrow that characteristic. -

Modding is what kept mvp baseball 2005 relevant for me for 8 years. It was fun as hell. Cannot mod for online play though obviously.
That’s the thing though. People will mod the heck out of it and play online with it. It happens in almost any game that is on PC. I don’t expect SDS to have an adequate anti-cheat system in place.
I agree but at least open the door for offline mod use and just restrict non sanctioned online mods for competition or restrict them just from online all together

Yep and that's where the best ideas come from. Many developers are missing out by not having an open door for the mod community.
