It only takes the 6 strongholds to complete, no stealing.. I think I've done one a day.. I'm an offline player so it helps me make stubs.. I had 200k when it came out and now I'm over 1 million.. and I've bought a bunch of cards.. like abbyspapa said, helps us offline players out. Maybe I'm in the minority but it's helped me out for sure

I pulled Trout!! That was the best conquest game I've ever played.. and to think I was gonna quit out.!!
-
I did LS in June.. this was the postgame reward.. I've seen diamonds there but I usually end up with a bronze.. I always wondered if it was possible to ever get anything fun.. guess so
-
I just pulled Hader from a BIAH pack. Wasn't expecting it since I had just read this thread. So I guess it could happen.

I love the Grandal card....
Agreed! This card is awesome. If only he was a bit faster but he hits it so well from the left side it doesn't matter too much.

Showdown? I think it's pretty beatable. That would be huge for you
-
You get the full amount I believe
-
Maybe Votto

I have all 3.. love Cobb the most myself

I’m a little surprised it’s this popular, but I’m glad so many of you dudes are enjoying it! I love conquest so frankly I’m a little surprised that I’m not digging it a lot more (now that I think about it, maybe Conquest Extreme sorta burned me out on the mode for a bit?).
Maybe it’s also because I already have almost all the RIB cards that initially appealed to me — Goldy, Jones, Lee, Blyleven, and Perez. I will probably run through it again for Holland and Davis. Anybody else I should snag if the mood strikes me to play the map again? I’m sure no one will make my primary squad, but I always like collecting fun cards that I can whip out every now and again when I want to impress the ladies.
I think you may enjoy using Wainwright. And for some reason I had fun with Andrus, too

This is my first year playing The Show.. so maybe I'm just not experienced enough yet, but I can't see the reason to keep nameplates or icons... Do we need them for anything? Thanks community!

Bagwell.. he's good right lol guess I'm stuck with him

Everyone sit down for this one.. I pulled Kershaw! He will look great with the Bagwell I got yesterday

My first thought was Seaver like everyone but outside shot it could be Kevin Mitchell. He played for both teams but had his best years in SF.
I'd want Seaver. But it be cool to have another name in the game.Haha, yeah NYM and CIN are not synonymous with Mitchell, but I absolutely would do a happy dance if it ended up being Mitchell. He was really good with Cin, just missed a lot of games, both due to injury and with 94 strike.
Yeah I was a fan. Power bat. It be a cool card in this game. If they do a prime card and have him represent his SF years, that card would be killer.

I hit 136 with the Cards. Did every moment which included the no hitter. Haven't been able to top that yet

Thanks for this topic. I didn't even know this was a thing.. I've always wondered but I'm not great at the game so I thought it was that. Does the POV you use also affect this? I've been trying a few and felt like it did but I don't know the game like others so I can't tell. What is the best POV to use?

I won a RS game today also and same thing happened to me. I got a lot of good counting stats and lost them all. I don't know how it happened as the game awarded the player of the game and everything. I'm not very good at this game and any stats I get I need them to count. Mine happen around 1030-11 I think

Easy? Yes
Silly? Kinda, obviously they will fix it, but in the all-star moment Nick Markakis is your catcher, and yes the computer will steal on him after getting on via a passed ball, Yelich stole second and third
It doesn’t matter does it?
I had Judge catching. Everything that wasn't a fastball was dropped. Good times.

Ive told the story here more than once, but i hit into 5 DPs in one single final boss Showdown.
That sucks, I had to change strategy because of the double plays. A lot of times when I hit and run I get a meat ball and hit it for a HR, I had 5 HR the other day in a stage 2 showdown and All had runners on base. I only steal or Hit and run in the following counts
2-1
3-1 i usually take the next pitch to see if I can get a walk
2-2
3-2
1-2
0-2With runner on 1st I always get to one of these counts.
Stealing on 0-2 and 1-2 counts are risky man
I hit and run on those counts, If I k I will have a runner on 2b, It is easy to steal on the pitchers in showdown even with guys with 50 speed. I does not work all the time anything close I can at least foul it off, if I have a slow hitter up The runner on usually has good speed, if a slow runner is on I have a hitter with good speed. This works for me been doing it for the last 3 weeks now been pretty successful with it. Especially in the 6th inning showdown Martinez and Maddux you could practically steal with anyone with 50 plus speed. and 30 plus steal.
Agreed here. The 6th inning showdown was the first one I've ever completed. And more often than not, I'm stealing with runner on first, making sure he has a lead at least or bringing in speed off the bench. If you can draft two speed guys who have really good contact that may be the way. And Maddux was kinda easy to pickup.. just sit off speed and sit low (the off speed also makes it easy to steal off of)

That low change up got rocked.
I loved it. I was thinking about taking him as my inning reward but if I can hit him, I'll get rocked using him online for sure
I pitched well with his original card, I think I would be ok with using him just have to not be predictable with pitches and location. I ma not a WS player, usually at 500-650 in RS.
You are definitely better than me Musial it is for me. He just makes good contact. I need that over here! Glad you are rocking this showdown.
I do not hit well with Musial I think it is his swing, My best 1B this year from the start has been McCovey, so many walk offs with that card. I took him the first chance I got in the XP path.
I love that swings cause different results for people. I can hit with McCovey.. his swing time isn't my wheelhouse.. Musial better for me but I can see it not working for others. I'm going to do one more showdown and try Rollins but I'm thinking he won't be for me
Rollins flys out to the warning track, Seems I could not hit the line drives to the gap with him, way to many fly outs hope you have better luck with him. Corey Seager Rookie card is freaking awesome wish his speed was above 50.
I'm trying to remember my lineup.. but I did have Seager and I loved that card too. Probably more than Musial.
