Anyone know who the final boss/bosses are for the east. Lieter, smoltz, Palmer, Henke, Burnett?

I thought the same thing for a while but I've been doing an experiment and tracking all my perfect/perfect hits across game modes and its pretty consistent. I couldn't beat showdown to save my life for the first few weeks but now I can win more than lose. Its all about plate discipline and no matter how well you see the pitch if its in the lower part of the zone you have to hold off if there is less than 2 strikes. Perfect/perfect hits in the bottom of the zone always get snagged by an infielder during showdown. The one thing I will say in showdown is that they definitely juice the fielders.
Wow a rational person tracking perfect perfects instead of just complaining a game has broken hitting even though it’s completely OP IMO. Respect on tracking it I never thought of doing that I’m gonna try as well. I’ve tried explaining to people that it’s probably as simple as probability written into the games code for each contact result.
So far since I started tracking it the other day I'm 56 for 66 with 19 doubles, 3 triples and 18 Home Runs. One of the outs was a home run that someone jumped up and robbed. 3 outs on Perfect/Perfect Fly, 3 on Perfect/Perfect Liner and 4 on Perfect/Perfect Grounder.
im grinding showdowns and other game modes with the new programs vs the CPU, im gonna start tracking out of curiosity, i'd expect similar results give or take.
Yah, I decided to track it cause I was getting frustrated and saw everyone complaining about the hitting so I wanted to see if the game was actually screwing me or if I was just being pissy. Turned out I was just being pissy because what I've tracked is consistent with what they said you would hit on perfect/perfect hits
yea i think its similar(ish) to the complaints we saw all last yea about good squared outs. Yes they happen but if you hit the ball harder than your opponent more consistently you'll (usually) win. Which is pretty much like real baseball which is incredibly frustrating which people seem to sometimes forget.

I just got the semi final pack and I’m currently grinding NMS for mantle so I’m not playing ranked at the moment and don’t need Snell right now.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas as to what might happen with the semifinal cards price wise? Do you think there will be a price surge in a few days or more? (I understand they will drop rapidly today since they just came out and people are getting them) -
Ngl you lost me when you said Morton. Nothing makes me happier than seeing that card come in. It’s a free 2+ runs

sorry we can't all pay for super elite teams... im not spending money on this game. plus you got tell me ya relievers more reliable than ya starters? don't cap to me lil bro
I haven't spent a dime on stubs either. I bought the standard edition and that's it.
86 Charlie morton: Free card, 5 pitches
84 ken Giles: 1k stubs, 3 pitches, but has plus fastball and slider
85 chapman: 30k stubs, 4 pitches, plus plus fastball, good change of speed between 4seam and sinker, good slider
Kerry Wood: Free card 4 pitches
Sean Doolittle: Complete A's collection, 28kish. My favorite lefty, okay fastball (somewhat slow) with devastating slider and changeup
Eckersley: Free card, 3 pitches, lots a movement, somewhat sells
Robb Nen: 32k, 4 pitches, absolute stud.
All of these guys are good and can get outs(all have sub- 3.5 era)
You could get other cards like the kirby Yates, Isringhausen, Lugo, and emilio pagan. All are really solid for me that just don't make the cut over the others. There's plenty of fish in the water, you just have to find the right ones -
Once you’re in stage 2 i think I noticed you can’t get points from stage 1 anymore?
Is it capped at 35 points in stage 1 I just played a conquest game and I’m pretty sure my RBI’s with the dodgers didn’t count

Game is working perfectly as intended. If it truly was broke, they would have fixed it by now considering all the feedback towards certain aspects of the game.
Let’s just face it, majority of players play at the mediocre level and this is where majority of the bs is happening. It’s happening to keep the majority of players playing by handing out cheap wins.
Guys, their a business. They look at one thing....NUMBERS....they already admitted to that. They’ve designed this game to keep players “active” to show their bosses the good numbers it’s producing. It’s a shame but all this bs is intentional to boost numbers.
Knew something was up when Mark Hanna was named SDS CEO...
I knew something was up when they patched this game on release day for the casuals.
And now they’ve gone into hiding.
Game was made more difficult for casuals as a result if the patch , not easier.
Shh, don't use logic. Some people are just delusional.
Somehow a change that makes the game harder for the elite players (which they all obviously are) somehow magically also makes the game easier for casuals.

break out and future stars
Thanks. Just curious where’d you find that? I looked everywhere

Did they release what the team requirements are gonna be for the second part of the offseason event?
-
Can you turn the throwing meter off for pickoffs somehow? It will randomly show up on pickoffs to first when I get them and seems imposssible to hit.
If you cant turn it off does anyone have any tips to help not just get red every time?
-
When i pick someone off first it gives me like an impossible meter. Any tips on what to do or how to turn it off if it’s possible to turn off without turning the whole meter off
