just bunt every AB once you have a lead on the cpu, games end much quicker and use relievers so you can slide step and avoid long windups
-
you can dashboard before game ends to not reset progress. i needed just the homer going into last game and that’s how i went at it
-
the prospect and future stars cards are cool, especially early in the cycle while useable with other cards since there’s not a lot of SS cards or pitching.
as a buccos fan we only have hope of a prospects “what if” until we ruin or trade them so getting keller, cruz and whoever is next is fun while they’re somewhat useable -
Who do you think they get for the buccos? Hayes, Reynolds come to mind, Swaggerty maybe? maybe even tucker since he’s in the players league? Hopefully not a second Keller card.
Unrelated i would like a throwback giles personally

people still will quit soon as they get behind by a run or two since record doesn’t matter on events like in ranked seasons
-
power and starts are kinda useful now since you can use them from the pen i try to get few high silver or a gold pitcher and power on all start vision doesn’t mean much and ppl quit once they get done

ppl who completed collections early last year had a much easier time getting honus than ppl who didn’t lock in early. i didn’t bother with the veteran or all star cards or any of that early on and then when the wagner card came out they all became much harder to get.. then they added the sig teams and other collections where as ppl who had those 4-5 main collections done early unlocked him without doing the post season or sig teams or anything... so i’m trying to keep them completed

@Amishjosh said in MOTO for Affinities?:
I do veteran and will hunt when up by 3 or more runs to progress fast. I choose all hitters in trades so I dont player lock a pitcher. Finished mine yesterday, between 7-8 hours
this and sub in all relievers so don’t have to deal with any long windups
-
for grinding affinity points the playoffs are the absolute worst. it takes longer to play the playoffs than it does the entire season and that’s bunting myself out every ab once i have a lead i don’t wanna play 5 innings a game every single playoff game or i would go play franchise

prob unpopular opinion but they always mess with the speeds when in reality the pitch speeds should stay universal across all levels. the difference in all star legend and hof should be only on pci size and how strict the rewards are for pci placement not making the speeds insanely fast

Which FOTF cards do you guys recommend I should go for next, or which ones have you enjoyed using the most so far?
I have completed the Olson, Correa, Soto, Ohtani, Merrifield, Buxton and Snell team affinities.
tatis and bell are good choices, blackmon is a nice lefty bench bat. i see ppl saying turner but i haven’t done his yet

How are you finishing them so quickly?
you can always do MTO as low and rookie or veteran and get 32-42 pts one run might take few hours but just get the lead and then bunt yourself out every game
-
if you want affinity points and showdown is tough grind MTO out. even just veteran gets you 40 some points and can easily grind out in half a day

The problem with this is that most of us that actually grinded to 100 wins had absolutely no clue the event wins and rewards carried over.
It wasn't a tip off when they advertised the new event name as "The Show Goes on
"?
there's been multiple events in the past that had multiple parts, each offerer different rewards or vouchers each "new" event
-
the wins should have at least reset if you reached 100 to be able to get the rewards even if its just the xp, stubs, and packs and not awarding robinson a second time but looks like BR and showdown, MTO to do the affinity programs instead

@eatyum said in Nate Pearson and Michael Kopech are the best SPs in the game:
I feel like I'm missing out on these prospect cards because every stub is going towards collections. Eventually do want to have enough prospects to get Dylan Carlson
just wait for a stub sale to do live series. stock up on stubs and buy a week or so after the sale. the prices are already low i imagine a lot of people will have the live series done after the first stub sale
-
it’s awful. it’s doable, but pitchers sure don’t pitch like a play now vs cpu game veteran the bosses just dot corners left and right.
not to mention i don’t get where some of these outfields get these cannons when tagging up

Al Kaline, 11 hits, 4 extra base hits, 2 HR in 7 games mission
Future Stars is obvious and...well.....
My thought on the whole FS/Prospects/FOTF fiasco.
does anyone like 6 inning event games?
