This mode is so rage inducing, simply not worth the time or stubs. I played a game on Veteran immediately following a Showdown and there’s no way they put that mode on Vet. CPU fielders all have gold gloves too. [censored] this mode.

They would have to use a physics engine to do it right. No sports game company currently uses a true physics based engine. If they did, you would not see the rating scale. For example, you would see everything measured in inches, feet, seconds, mph etc

You know what’s funny is that they could probably retroactively double all of those games still and they won’t.

Yea but without it the program should still be fairly easy to complete. It would just be cool to get it. By the time it’s working I’ll have all offline stuff complete which is a bummer.

At least I can boost some cards with parallels.

During this week I was able to access the practice mode in the tech test app and was playing through some games in the options explorer to get better, because those offline modes were still available on the app. Looks like it’s all gone now though

The circle change is even filthier. I just set down my controller until two strikes and was able to do it

I'm a new player too, I got the 84.99 edition (not sure what it's called). I had that same question as you and heard that one was the best value, and I definitely wanted to play that opening weekend. I don't think I could take seeing everyone talk about it and not be able to play it lol.

Would appreciate a response from SDS on this...is there a reason GamePass is showing up on the thumbnail of my game in the Xbox menu, even though I’ve pre-ordered the $85 Jackie edition? I’ve seen this is happening for other users as well. Hoping that there’s no confusion tomorrow and I can play.

Anyone else having this issue? None of my double CP counted this weekend. I proved this by comparing the number of XP I had before and after games, and it was only giving me half of the total it said at the end of games. It’s a bummer, because I would be pretty close to finishing the first inning program if it had actually counted like SDS said.
