I’m not a huge fan of the wins but I like the concept of what they are trying to do…..personally I’d love it to be more like the BR program where a win is a point and then there are other missions or stats or streaks to complete for additional points.

Hits well for me as well......suspect it’s because he still has his sideburns.

I’d be up for it

He is probably in an event line-up that needs to be cleared.

I have topps now Alejandro Kirk and Randal grichuk at P4

I wouldn’t be too concerned about Vladdy going back up on Friday…..while he hasnt been terrible (he’s been getting on base) he hasn’t had and xbh since early May.

Showdown is pretty good from stubs and xp perspective as long as you go far enough frequently.......personally when I lose the final showdown all use the stubs and cards earned and put it into exchanges to make it feel like I made some progress when I lose.

100% stage 1 & 2......1/30 for stage 3

I'm thinking everyone's favorite HR hitter will be the big reward for grinding out the Deadball event. If they were going to give a small ball player as the reward for that event they wouldn't have released a signature Kenny Lofton earlier in the year.
My bet for the dead ball is a prime or ss John olerud.....only have the Mets card so far.

In terms speed….mini season for sure…..you can make the playoffs on 14-14 in most cases so if your want to fly through on rookie, you can do a season in 20 3-inning games vs 30 for conquest plus if you get your wins by just playing the home games you shave at bit of time there as well…plus no simming..if you do the missions along the way (non As and HoF ones) you get close to 20k in stubs plus packs (including 2 prospects packs) and a ton of xp bonuses…..championship pack is also 15 packs plus a ballin vs the 10 pack for conquest.

Lefty Lefty packs are a repeatable….they are worth it at trey moment but suspect prices will drop as more people get them. As for the setup it is lefty pitchers and hitter and all bronze/common cards…..like all mini seasons certain squad better than others….more diamond starters but limit bullpen option….see a bunch of hader, Wagner and Rogers in worst case….in terms of squad there are some good budget options….Brandon Lowe (TA or live series is good) and some good options from wbc program….Gary Sanchez is a good C option since not many left catching options yet.

It is a choose 1 of 5 pack…..you get it at 5,10 and 15 wins….so a decent grind but card we’re going for 30k-25k yesterday……you can restart the season and repeat after you get the 3 packs.

I think for me I can get past the art for these new series (art is unique to the beholder)……I think for me in the disconnect with stats bothers me more (feels like arbitrary adjustments of the player overall profile to ensure they can create a low 90, 95, 97 and multiple 99 versions of the same player as we move through the seasons)…..type of card feels lost/pointless (curious to see how much excitement there will be for finest when most will look just like their all star cards….which they be able to use again 60 days after finest launches anyways)
