Anyone have insight on the criteria for the event today? I was thinking it may be all switch hitters, because of the reward being Santana. Any thoughts?

What does the babe Ruth have to do with the WBC jerseys?

Is there any reason I should be hoarding these 20 WBC Diamond Jerseys that I could have an easy 20k for? Didn’t know if there is a certain reason they were given to us or not.

I'm cool with whatever to be honest. It could be stubs and packs, no need to make individual cards a part of a mode that isn't for everyone. For instance, I'm personally not a big fan of the BR path, but I'm sure some people love it. All I'm saying is, I have probably played 20-30 co-op games and have prob lost like 6-7 and I feel like it could be fun and competitive if some kind of rewards were involved or possibly even being able to collect parallel xp points. But, I haven't seen any updates on this topic in a long time. Just don't want them to sweep it under the rug and us not receive a possible fun mode in the future.

I seen a post about this a while back, but it seemed like people had mixed opinions on it. I'm one of the people that are for co-op ranked seasons. I think it is fun, but its gets boring fast because it seems as though the competition is mediocre. I would love to jump into games and competitively play against competition that is on the same threshold. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say Im the best player, but I would just enjoy a tougher competition and some incentives for it.
People have been complaining that this would take the "fun" alway from this mode. For that, I say make a ranked mode and a casual mode for those that would not be in favor for this.
I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on this topic.

I understand everyone dislikes the new commentary and I can’t help but agree. But, my biggest problem is that you chose mccutchen as a cover athlete and the commentary crew doesn’t even say his name. Every at bat I hear, “now coming to the plate is #22”. I typically don’t even listen to them but I just don’t understand how a cover athlete can’t have his name in the game.

I agree, having the same issue. Im on PlayStation and my buddy is on Xbox. I would imagine they could fix this problem.

My teammate is and Xbox player and I play on PlayStation. It isn’t letting us join each other’s game right now and I wasn’t sure if this was a bug, a problem with what we’re doing, or something the game plans on having. If someone could let me know I would appreciate it.

So I may be missing something but from what I understood, they were supposed to have ranked co-op. The only option I have is for casual co-op. I figured someone on here may be able to answer this for me.

If you play offline then no, but in online games there is fatigue

I used Yaz, but not a big fan of his swing for some reason. I agree with Gallo, poor vision is tough but his fielding is honestly amazing as corner outfielder or corner infielder. I'll have to check out the AL central wasn't too attracted to it other than Anderson or Goodrum. I did like the look of Bichette in the AL East

I got Yordon, but most of my other favorite 42 cards are in the AL Central based on how I do with them in Showdowns. Goodrum is a glitch, Anderson is good, Berrios is the second or third best SP. The Indians OFer hits like a right handed Yordon. I also like Flaherty and Hiura from the NL Central. I think those are the best 42 series cards

I haven't used Goodrum and Berrios enough, haven't even tried Flaherty. But, Anderson and Hiura were both very good in showdown when I used them and Reye[censored] nukes for me.

I have faced the gold Castillo and IMO he shoves. Very tough to hit if the player can hit his spots.

Seems to me the best way to build your team without spending money is through team affinity programs. I decided to start the AL west. I was wondering what everyone thinks on who the best team affinity players are? My personal favorites are Yordan Alvarez and Joey Gallo. I also just got Lozardo, but I'm really interested to know what people think about Sixto, Luis Castillo, Ketel Marte, and many others. I have only got to use a few of them in Showdowns, but I'd love to hear what others think.

Other than fielding, do you think there will be any tweak to hitting? I know a lot of people love it but a lot don’t too.

I don’t want to be that guy, but this game just isn’t the same anymore. I used to love them and now it’s like I can barely get myself to play it. Idk I started playing nba again because I just can’t deal with all the bugs and online play in general. It bothers the hell out of me going from being a fairly decent player last year to basically a [censored] player this year.

Does anyone have a spreadsheet for the reward tendencies for BR? I have Seranthony Dominguez as my 3 game award.
