thank you for keeping the conversation alive and interesting. I do not see anyone reporting pain, which means I did not break anything in the last 24h! The bug which was randomly throwing account restricted has been officially eliminated and we can continue our journey...

The restrictions are in still in place, and they have eliminated a huge amount of ugly traffic. The ugly accounts noticed and adapted, but we have new and more sophisticated strategies coming every day, stay tuned!

I’ve been working around the clock on improving traffic classification and filtering out unwanted Marketplace activity from legitimate user traffic (you know the story by now!)

Version 6.7.1 addresses a bug in QuickSell / ViewListing - but also brings an additional set of improvements to go along with the Marketplace API.
Within the noise of the forum, I was able to pick a few very good suggestions which helped the most recent work - I appreciate the help!

Please update when you get a chance, and let me know if you notice anything unusual.

As always, making the Companion App the best possible experience remains my peak priority.

I believe (actually, I can see the numbers...) the current API filters are doing an excellent job at reducing bad traffic, entire categories of bad actors have been progressively cut out. I also acknowledge the difficulty is increasing and we will continue to refine and harden the filters: we are on a bumpy but successful path...

API Rate limiting is a very good bet! The algorithm is often giving out "cooldown" responses to legitimate (heavy) users, we will refine the logic to make it smarter as @eshum_mlbts and others have suggested. "Cooldowns" for legit users are very short and now show a clear message on the app for clarity.

This is a "one VS one million" battle, thank you for being on the good side!

I just checked, and it appears that the app is operating at normal speed again.

I appreciate the reports about slowness - you are responding to the question I asked - but please remember that the Companion App is just a client in a larger ecosystem!

I am the equivalent of your car mechanic and I can't do anything if your car is low when the traffic builds up

I’ve been working hard on trying to separate unwanted Marketplace traffic from legitimate user traffic.
Version 6.5.9 should bring a significant improvement! Please update, and let me know if you see anything unexpected.

let's have a constructive conversation about refining the new filters to make them suitable for humans instead of a long list of "I sold 3 cards, got banned, my life is ruined, you suck, delete the app" - We have 4variables to tune, let's go!

there are NO restrictions on the app at the moment (they have been off for a while) - I just confirmed everything is smooth by placing 20 buy and 20 sell orders at the maximum speed allowed by the app...
