Also sounds like franchises I’ve played. I can’t name how many times Rookie of the Year winners spend the next several years in the minor leagues. Players also regress randomly for seemingly no reason at all. This stems from complaints in this forum that players would play to long and they made that system that literally kills them earlier than they would in reality.

why would people complain players play too long? ive only ever heard the opposite argument being made

Got me. Apparently it wasn’t realistic to some for players to play into their late 30s.

The passive quirks have been removed this year. They did absolutely nothing since they were given after reaching a certain level with a certain attribute and no actual boost to anything because of the quirk.
