I don't play as much since CFB27 came out. I did the HOF program and thought I had enough to buy Live Series Ohtani which is the last card I need to complete the LIVE series.
But I see his card near 900K now. I think it must be the highest ever.
Why is this card so high in price now? I see he has a all star game card too which I would have thought would replace his Live card and make it cheaper.
@PriorFir4383355_XBL I just don’t feel like wasting 80$ on a game that I’ll maybe play for a week. Bo2 is only 25$ on ps store we revamped graphics may give that a go.

just finished watching the HRD and tried to log on but servers are down. was this planned or just another server outage with this game?
rookie this year doesn't throw strikes. you have to learn to lay off a lot of pitches.
better to play on veteren where you will get more hits.
I ran out of cards and kept pressing X and it went to the shop menu and I accidently bought the ASG pack.
But I got Buxton and another player so sold them for 300K total.
Is it guranteed to get a big name card in this pack? I bought it fro 75K and sold cards for 300K so a 250K profit.
Thinking about doing it again but did I just get lucky or will I get a card thats selling for over 200K?

been a while since I played and saw this new program today and yeah, forcing us to play online is b.s. they got me to try events this year and I'm ok with that but ranked??? no way. I don't even want to touch that mode.
as for ppl in this thread saying PLAY YOUR WAY, it's not been Play Your Way the last 3 years when this new management team took over. When Ramone was the face of the game it definitely was, but it hasn't been since these new guys took over.
Anyway, I use to play this game from release to next release but last 2 iterations I have not since CFB ususally comes out in early July. I'm planning to spend more time again this year with CFB next week and probably not be as dedicated to this game. Maybe I'll do the topps now weekly program (or whatever the new name of the program is now), but that's about it.
It was good timing by SDS to release this screw job of a program to offline players. we now all know where they're coming from and where this game is headed going forward.
Prior to 3 years ago, how were you getting world series rewards and BR rewards by playing offline?
I wasn't. Never touched BR/WS Ranked, nothing online.
I was playing programs only when they gave you the option to finish those programs online OR offline.
Right, so there have always been certain cards you could only get by playing online.
or buying them with stubs earned by playing offline - NMS
but really never had the need to since I was happy w/ the cards you get offline and never needing to play online.

He is still there but he got 'soft fired' and they put him on the negro leagues portion of the game. So they pigeonholed him into doing one thing instead of doing many things and being the face of the game.
I miss the dude. I’d like to see Dolenz take his old position
yeah when Ramone and the other 3/4 guys were the face of the game with the previous management, this series was top notch. Not perfect but they seemed to actually care about what players wanted offline and online. PLAY HOW YOU WANT was a real thing.

I don’t play like that either. Some people do, you just throw home and hopefully you aren’t animation locked

I’m like 30-100 check my game history. I only play with my Cardinals online and just try to play a good baseball game
exactly - the animation gets locked too and the other guy you're playing knows that and exploits the game to win at all costs.
Like I said, I want to play baseball, not mario.
@LuvMyXBOX_XBL Yer absolutely right. Aggressive and situational baserunning has no place in baseball whether it's real baseball or a video game. In a forum filled with MANY terrible takes this is right up there.
so tell me one time in a real baseball game in the situation i just described where the batting team is dumb enough to try to go home when the first baseman has the ball???
Pretty much almost never.
Because when I play sports videogames, I want realism. When I play the CPU, I get more realism than I play a human opponent.
Glad you pointed your attitude on how you play this game because GUYS LIKE YOU is EXACTLY WHY I avoid online gaming.
Win at all costs is kind of the point of a baseball game, no?
I guess when it's 1st and 2nd no outs and the guy rolls over a grounder to 2nd and I turn the double play thinking the play is over like in real baseball. But only to discover the player is not stopping his player at 3rd but continuing to home, I shouldn't be dumb enough to not throw home thinking I'm playing a legit baseball opponent.
Guess it's my fault for not guarding myself from this type of player. Because you know, I think I was actually playing legit baseball.
If you play like this then you're the problem and why I avoid online.
You need to try Ranked man. It’s actually the best mode. Don’t be deterred

@LuvMyXBOX_XBL Madden isn’t a good game no matter the year. They are terrible with with copy paste, gameplay is terrible. Not to mention that game is just abuse the same play over and over again.
that's called an opinion. has nothing to do w/ the conversation that madden has laggy menus. because last years game DID NOT. mlb the show 26 still does months after release.
