Last year, mini seasons forced you to use their slower presentation mode instead of allowing fast play like all other modes. Is that still a thing this year?

@Easy_Duhz_It_
So there are a number of them where yes if you press X, then it will skip it. However there are also a number of them where doing that won't work right away and you have to wait.
Yes, we're talking about a few seconds for some of these but number one, it adds up when you're doing it multiple times per game over the course of a full Mini Season plus with the potential to play multiple Mini Seasons and two, it's about what is available to us in other DD modes vs not in this one.

All last year people were clamoring for changes to be made to the presentation of Mini Seasons. We want to play Mini Seasons. We like Mini Seasons. We think it's a great thing.
But what's not great, is having the inability to play it at the normal (faster) speed like we can in other offline modes like Conquest or Play Vs CPU. Even online games go faster.
So as much as I want to play Mini Seasons, the slow speed at which we are forced to watch replays and screen switches is simply too slow and annoying.
So I would rather grind CPU or conquest and lose out on all the stuff that comes with Mini Seasons than sit through it.
It's been asked for since the changes were made in The Show 23 and I don't know why its clung to like this. It makes no sense. Just like other modes where you can have slower or faster replays and whatnot, we should have that ability in this mode.

On the ballplayer screen, "Skill Set" bottom right "See Tasks and Rewards"
As has been said, the system uses a variant of the "program" technique - you have "repeatable" tasks that award (typically) 3 stars per completion (for example, my current 2 way SP/1B gets 3 "stars" for every 9 IP, 16Ks, 30 Plate App. 35 putouts, 35 assists, 12 hits, 10 XBH, 7SB. He also got 10 stars each time after racking 5 hits and 5 Ks.
Thank you very much. This is the explanation I was looking for an it all makes sense now. I knew about the Tasks and Rewards section but didn't make the connection with the "program stars". Thanks

Program stars are given in place of program xp for “other programs”. The main program is xp driven but if you go to the other programs tab, Starter program and WBC program, you get stars for finishing moments, missions, conquest maps and showdowns for those programs. Each program will have their own set of moments and missions to get stars to complete the program.
This is not what I'm talking about. I am talking about the "program stars" that you get when doing dynamic challenges in RTTS. I see nothing anywhere about it.

Simple question. What are they?
I did a search and all I see are posts about issues getting them from certain programs in MLB 20 but I can't find any info for MLB 23 on what they are, where you find them, how to use them or anything.
