There seems to be major timing forgiveness for zone hitting and massive timing penalties for any other hitting. The zone hitting timing forgiveness is unreal. I see replays where guys start their swing when the ball is over the plate and they hit a home run.
Good. Directional or Timing should never be on the same level as Zone hitting. Harder the skill, the bigger the reward.

Where do those cards show up? Are they part of a collection at all? Don’t see a menu in DD with their cards at all.
They are their own collection. Do the 8 storylines then you unlock 95 Buck O’Neil. Loving the Satchel Paige card though

Gameplay - I noticed a new animation w Diamond fielding 1B Buck O’Neil doing the splits! Have to say, that’s such a baseball thing that has never actually been in The Show game until now!
Hitting - seems like they nerfed the Perfect / Perfects abiut this year. I’m noticing more of them going for routine fly balls. I just hit 2 of them - w POWER Swing even, and they went for routine fly outs. - in the same WBC moment I’m trying to complete! Haha

I did all the moments WBC, TA, The starter and the Negro league stuff. Then do showdowns. If you’re efficient you can get that done in a few hours this will give you a bunch of great cards. Then conquests events whatever to start getting that PXP. OH! First you should get the free derick jeter lol
So when I take a break and log back in my events have reset. Each time, my line up isn’t saved. Is this just me or a known issue?
Yeah unfortunately there is no right or wrong answer to this. Penalize legit quitters but last year I remember being in a game up 3-1 and stepping on my power strip under the desk now in 23 I’d be penalized for it. It sucks.

I completed the LS collection because being a Yankees fan that grew up during the Jeter led dynasty, I didn’t want to wait until August to get him. So far he has hit more homers for me than Sosa or McGwire and that’s with no boosts. And not cheap ones either - Center field no doubters. He actually is a great card.And while he may not be worth “the cost” to non Jeter fans, You will need him for all future big collections.
I agree and normally I’d be scrambling. I’ll still get it done before set 2 comes out but I can still play ranked and events with really good squads without Sammie McGwire or Jeets. I want them but not as big of a priority as years past. I’ve completed 4 live series teams this weekend for about 12k stubs

Last year we had Randy Johnson who was just a nightmare to deal with for quite awhile but this years master Jeter doesn’t compare to what Randy was last year. Sure he looks amazing but I don’t see him having the same impact Randy did.
McGwire and Sosa look good as well but they’re not worth the millions of stubs spending to get them. I basically did the collection last year specifically cause of Randy and seen how dominant he was. I just don’t see the value being worth it this year. Anybody else feel that way?
Normally I’d disagree with you but the depth of content is amazing. I’ll get it done but it’s not a priority like the last few years

I sincerely thought that SDS would have fixed the issue with perfect/perfect not going for quality hits so far Im 0/10 on perfect/perfect hits with some balls barely making it to the second baseman. I’ve seen multiple acrobatic and coordinated plays by the defense so it doesn’t appear that is toned down. This year seems very much like 22 so far and I’m kind of disappointed. The way people talked about this game leading up to release was that these issues have been improved upon but I just don’t see it.
Aka I still suck. So I’ll jump on one of my 12 burner accounts to complain about the same thing. It’s not the game it’s you.

As someone who has it on all 3 platforms XBox series X pS5 and Switch. I do find Xbox play smoother. However Xbox users are the worst. Why do you own the same game on three different platforms?
Well I have my PS5 upstairs so when I’m bored and just want to play some offline stuff I’ll do that there. It’s a 75” tv online stuff is possible but annoying.
I have my XBox series X in my office hooked to a 32” monitor and I do most of my online gaming there.
I take my switch everywhere. My kids have practices so I can connect via my phone hot spot and do some DD offline stuff, again won’t play games vs others on my switch just a portable version.
I may change my Xbox and PS5 around if the 120hz is a difference maker
Did you have any issues with linking all 3? Mine shows linked but my Elite XB is not mirroring my PS
