What did we do in pre-2000 or so, when online gaming wasnt a thing.

We played offline, the only multiplayer was when people came round our houses.

Some people like offline gaming, some people like online gaming.

There is no right or wrong answer.

I quite enjoy showdown.

This whole game is a grind.

I’ve refused to grind this year. The only thing I’m doing is the weeklies moments and I’m only playing ranked to see how I go.

I’ve literally only got about 10-15% of TA1 done 0-5% of TA2.

I now feel pressured as my team is still set 1 heavy

Well, this is the first DD ive played for about 4/5 years (mainly stuck to RTTS) and im really enjoying the stuff they've added.

for example, for all the 6 team affinities, ive created a squad just from those teams and my CAP to basically run up the numbers in the appearances and complete the 42 sets.

its so much fun doing it this way, AL West is pretty awful for catchers and RP so you actually unearth some gems that blow away a 95 card with a strike out.

also helps you play with lots of different cards and not stick to your main so you can find some players who work for you.

anyway, not much to say other than a ramble. im terrible at the game about 20-30 so far, my PCI keeps dropping, but im working on it!

I’ve been grinding this game since April. Played 300 or so RS games - yes i know that’s a lot I Iove it

Anyway. I noticed for the first couple weeks my right thumb was killing me. Don’t know why. Maybe I was pressing swing too hard. Before the show I played rocket league a lot too but never got any pain in my hands.

Anyway some 7-8 weeks later I notice a hard thumb callus - similar to guitar ones normally on my left.

Anyone else have this? Am I that sad?

OR

They could just set up an exchange program for dupes?

Would save them a lot of time and effort with CS tickets.

Depends really, my best moments have been from being 5 runs down at the bottom of the 9th and still bringing it back.

But 40 wins is a lot, and some people would rather not waste 40 mins or their lives if they know they're gonna get beat.

Also - it depends, i may start Mark Prior - the other guy has De Grom, i go 2-0 down, i play my half inning, cant see the ball. I quit.

Yeah outlier isn’t fun. 102 can by all means be the top speed but it should play like a 99mph ball.

Wouldn’t you rather lost 10-8 than 2-1?

I only ever played catcher for little league kids as a coach. And a few times in practice at college. Rickey didn’t even seem that fast and a lot of bases he barely got in before the tag. He has a career 81% steal success rate.which means he’s been hosed out plenty of times. If I had 20 chances back in the day against prime Rickey, I know I could’ve gotten him once.
