Drives me freakin' crazy when people do that and I'm trying to flip something. Doesn't make sense. Usually you can wait it out and the "normal" price will come back, but still drives me nuts.

Great list. My son and I have been talking about this for a while. We're big Halladay fans so would love to see that. Think about how nasty a Cy Young Lincecum card would be... And Steve Carlton? Awesome.

hitting the Ps button on the controller and going out to the console dashboard. Then you can close and reboot the game. I believe you still get the loss tho (as a disconnect on your part)

Another "newbie" question... why not just quit? Is there a benefit to dashboarding?

Quick question- we pulled Ketel Marte from a show pack and want to sell the card but the system says he's in a squad (he's not) or equipped, and we can't sell it. Anyone come up against this before? Any ideas?

Four SS, if you include Anderson and Crawford on the way to Didi and Carlos. How about a rockin' first baseman? Bell could have been a good choice.

My son makes me laugh- he takes the Hunter Strickland approach sometimes. if you watch one on him, there's a good chance he'll throw at the next batter. I tell him A) you're just giving the guy another baserunner, and B) video game ballplayers don't bruise, but it makes him feel better.

I've been noticing some small baseball gameplay things in moments that are pretty unrealistic, and wondering why they can't program the game to be more "real". I was playing the Andre Dawson moments yesterday.
-Situations where pitchers throw to first- sometimes they'll throw over to first in late innings (8th, 9th) when they're up by 5 or more runs with two outs and two strikes on me. They'll throw over 2 or 3 times in that situation. In their defense, it's Trey Turner on first, but still...
-Jon Lester throws over to first 2 or 3 times in a row. Jon Lester never throws to first.
-Pitchouts. Pitchouts are pretty rare. I looked it up online and found stats that said in 2012 they happened maybe once every 10 games, and by 2017 almost once every 40 games. 129 of them total, in 2017. In the moments they throw pitchouts all the time; several times in one game.
-Catchers throwing across the first base line on a dropped third strike (catcher outside to 1B inside, or vice versa).

Little things like that, that make it less realistic. Just thinking out loud...

The thing I hate the most about them is getting kicked out if you fail the mini showdown. That doesn't seem fair. Ding me for a couple of runs or make me go back and complete something again but getting kicked out sucks.

I played it the other day (failed, FWIW) and I thought he was really bad- all over the place. Threw a lot of balls. I don't know if that's consistent, but if so I'd say to be patient and take the walks.

I noticed that a lot of them (I was looking at silver mostly) jumped quite a bit mid afternoon or so. I stayed in silver and made about 2K in 40 minutes or so. That may be chump change to some of you, but I'm still kind of new to flipping cards, so that was pretty cool.

So a bunch of orders all at once... set a price when selling and let it sit until the price comes back around even if it does drop too low at one point? I'm probably watching them too much and reacting to movement in sell price.
