You didn't want to give up that 3-run bomb that was coming next, huh?
-
To be fair, the first play wasn’t an easy catch and was with a bronze fielder. It just looks worse because of the way the ball bounced off his glove.
Fielders letting the ball drop in front of them is a legitimate problem that needs to be fixed though.

Come on dude. That's a catch all day with Schwarber. Hell, you can't miss those if you tried most of the time. It makes you catch them.

I would argue that it’s actually way too easy for bad fielders to make those kinds of catches in this game honestly.
Acting like it was a routine catch is being disingenuous though.

It wasn't even that difficult.

I would argue that the play he made at the wall in the gap, was tougher than the linedrive he had to take a couple steps back on. Either way, I believe major leaguers make that first play, 99% of the time.
The way they make silver and below defenders look like little leaguers frustrates me.

He had to lunge out and try to catch it over his shoulder.
Over the shoulder catches aren’t routine.

I see nothing wrong here. This is the elite gameplay SDS has to offer but ohhhhh look at all that content. They'll keep shoving content down our throats in hope we'll keep playing this garbage
-
I'm surprised you even made that catch at the wall, lol. Last play was brutal, confirm quit is 100% justified here. I'm sure you were irate. I'd say best bet is to take a break and only play when you know you'll be able to stomach blows like that in ranked games.
-
Never seen worse user game play in years. Embarrassing

My luck is so bad the programming was probably setting up an inning endng double play that would've made him quit but I beat him to it.
Truth is I just don't have the stomach for this game anymore. It's no longer me vs you. It's me vs you vs the programming.
-
“And that’s gonna fall for a base hit.”
-
I'd suggest using buttons accuracy for throwing to have more user input in key throwing situations (but really, that throw into second base didn't matter that much). But the fly balls landing in front of outfielders is a real issue that occurs from time to time, as were issues with lock-on animations occurring earlier this year.

That stuff happens to gold and diamonds too.
