I would go:

Trout Cole
3 NL guys in whatever order. But pick one division to do first

Trout’s price is the least likely to drop significantly. Demand will pretty much always exceed supply. Grabbing Cole after gives you Ortiz. With those two in place a quarter of your lineup is set. After that it’s kind of your call, Finley and Glavine are both awesome. Soriano sucks but chipper is a god (particularly w/ all the LHP in ranked). Hope this helps!

I think the biggest flashback/legend collection this year will be 99 Mickey Mantle who will be even better than last year. They totally justified making him a collection reward again by releasing a 95 version just now who is accessible to anyone.

That would make sense. I'm gonna go with the greatest all time finally getting his due. Babe Ruth Sig.. 125 all hitting attributes. Playable defense and speed.

Live series cards are based purely on IRL performance. Whether or not a player has a good flashback card has no impact on how their LS card is upgraded or downgraded. Regardless, I don't see him going diamond anytime this year. I'd invest the 150k elsewhere. If you're willing to put in the time, you could even make a pretty good profit putting in sell orders as long as they are above 1,111 stubs.

I just looked and he's at an 81. So he is close to being a Silver more than a Diamond.

You also need to take into consideration that his HUGE upgrade last year was just because he was hot and ALOT of people got upgraded just because SDS had to do upgrades. IE: All the pitchers that were QS value BEFORE they were upgraded to Diamond.

Now that there is a 'regular' season; SDS is going to be picky on whom they upgrade. Cough Kris Bryant Cough

Bad thing is that once he does go Diamond, he probably won't go for much more than QS value. But 5K is 5K. Especially if you only pay 1K per KB.

Yeah, newly upgraded diamonds usually take like a week to get above 5,555 (the minimum sell price to make quicksell value) and even once they do, it isn't much higher. I just quicksell them.

I think I paid about 1.8 for each KB but yeah I was planning on quick selling anyway. More of a hassle if I submit sell now orders with the sellers tax and everything. I’d just take my 5k and run with it

They make a lot of insane plays, but then I get the occasional play where the outfielder drifts on the ball and doesn't make the catch on a ball I thought was catchable. Oh I am not arguing that it happens and it is incredibly annoying. The other day I had my Showdown winning run on 3rd base and the infielders made 3 straight diving saves on balls that were smashed and threw me out at first and I couldn't score. Eventually won the Showdown anyway but I was about to lose my mind. I was just saying I haven't had those experiences with the frequency of some folks on here apparently.

One tip I’d say is don’t blow all your vouchers on 1 team. Unlock several guys from the division you’re working on and grind the missions and innings. Use your vouchers on another division

Vouchers apply to division not teams. AL East done, almost done with AL Central. I’ll start NL Central next and play a bunch of [censored] Showdown to get them over with; ugh. The innings grind will probably apply to season 2 and not 1 anymore. Why the Showdown torture

I made a game last almost 2 hours in the past.

Why?

The guy was R2 holding making each of my pitches last an extra 10 seconds. So, to counter him, I grabbed a beer, turned on some baseball, and took 10-15 seconds in between every pitch I threw that game. Also made sure to hold R2 on my end and make his life miserable.

He messaged me after. Think he learned his lesson, meanwhile I had a good time haha

Its what I do to people who play toxicly. Once had Warren Spahn on the mound and did the same thing. Went up 5 and he quit in the 2nd. Took 30 minutes I [censored] you not.

keep him. earn another one by getting the wins. also once the event finishes and there's only a finite number of Arrietas out there, the price will inevitably rise and he'll end up being another Buy Now 0 / Sell Now 1m card due to a lack of available cards. I'd hang onto it unless you really need the stubs (in which case I doubt you dropped 625k on him in the first place).

I bought the Prime Britton for 200,000 and just sold for around 282,000. As the cards go back into circulation, buy them, then hang onto them knowing they're going to become more hard to find as time goes on. Looks at cards like Will Clark (Giants) from previous events. Hovered around 30,000 for a while. Last time I looked it was up to about 75,000 and no way to get him other than buying off the market.

Tatis won't get a finest. His POTM is good enough and there are plenty of Padres who can fill that role of finest, such as Dimelson Lamet, Trent Grisham, Jake Cronenworth, or Manny Machado (Though he has an awards card)

Beat it today, took me 25 minutes in total from all of the days I tried it. My problem was hitting into double plays and Machado being an automatic out. Rest of the moments took 20 minutes total lol
