Instead of messing up hitting, they should’ve just buffed pitching. Pitching is a headache and now hitting is almost impossible even on All-Star? It’s pretty much unplayable. Just fix pitching control and fielding

I love MLB the Show, I invest a lot of money in the game every year. Purchased Mantle this year already. Even if you don’t spend a dime other than the initial game purchase, you deserve to speak your mind. You also deserve a product that works.

The first few days of this game were fun. Everyone was having fun other than 1% of the game population.

Now 99% of the players hate it.

Just revert the patch to launch day SDS. Bring back the game you tested. It was the most fun people had with the Show in YEARS.

This current game doesn’t make sense and if playing terrible.

i went 102-24 in the event and currently 20-3 in ranked and have played a ton of chrome league games with friends on HoF and no matter what update they come out with i’m still a top tier player.. learn to adjust instead of complaining

Bro, I’m 20-2 and won 6 in a row after the patch and even I’m saying this game isn’t nearly as fun as it was the first week. The last patch messed everything up. This is about everyone just having fun playing the game. Even All-Star online feels like HOF and that’s not right at all. Yea, more experienced and skilled players can adjust easier to such changes, but that doesn’t make the game fun for everyone. SDS should’ve just buffed pitching accuracy and fielding (and baserunning too honestly) and left hitting alone. Just let everyone have fun with the game.

Instead of making hitting so much more difficult, wouldn’t it just be smarter to just buff pitching? Especially control. The hitting was great when the game launched and now it’s just a headache and no longer fun. Hitting on All-Star online is virtually the same as Legend and the difficultly just goes up from there. Please fix the hitting back to where it was and just buff pitching and improve fielding.

Dude, isn’t that why there are difficulty levels attached to online ratings? Lol WS players are on legend and HOF for a reason. Speaking as a player whose made WS in years past, the hitting now is not good at all after this patch. Instead of being upset and “casual” players for having fun hitting the ball, why not just buff pitching. I wasn’t upset at everyone hitting .500. It’s a video game, let players hit bombs. It’s fun. But playing on All-Star and not being able to even put bat on ball sucks. And pitching was and still is a headache. So not only is hitting messed up now, pitching is still atrocious. SDS needs to revert this patch and focus on pitching control and fielding. Hitting was great for everyone. And part of the marking for this game was fun hitting. At the end of the day, it’s about players having fun. This 1.04 has nearly ruined the game for a lot of players.
