Looks like the captain boost doesn't work in mini seasons. Anyone else seeing this?

It takes me 10+ minutes to join any online game. I continuously get opponent found then lost connection with opponent. Eventually I'll get connected and game will load but this is way to time consuming. Am I doing something wrong like a setting I need to try? Any help tips ideas anything I'm open to all suggestions at this point. Thanks in advance

Can't play any online game mode. Every time I try immediately pops up opponent found then I get lost connection with opponent and mission failed. Anyone else?

I'm on XB1 and not PS, but yeah, I've also had some trouble this morning since they finished the server maintenance. Ironically, today's the first day since the Early Access Bundle launched that I've had any sort of problems. I've experienced disconnections, and since making the finals in my Mini Season, I've gotten the dreaded "unhandled server exception" that has kept multiple people from finishing their seasons for days.

I'm hoping that these problems are the result of the game being such a hit (esp. with it being on Game Pass) that their servers are just overwhelmed right now and things will smooth out soon, and it's not just shoddy servers that are going to be a problem all season long.

Are you getting lost connection with opponent?

I've been trying all morning. All get is challenge failed after finding opponent. I've tried RS, events and br. Anyone else having trouble? I did play 4 innings this morning opponent dashboarded can't do anything since then

Anyone know what happened to this guy. He was hilarious..

Games not ending after 3rd inning. Anyone else have this happen?

No issues for me using classic baserunning (and avoiding L1/R1), the last mistake I made that wasn’t caused by a brain fart was back in 2016.

Are you playing online using classic? My baserunning has been awful lately might be time to try something new

Is it just me or is his defense just terrible for everyone? 4 errors in 5 games. Not to mention his awful animations. I love his bat so far but seriously considering putting Didi back at ss

Inside edge is one of my favorite additions to the game. Live series players are relevant all season long. Trout had 122 power vs righties yesterday

Sold most of mine. I did keep Eric Davis and Jim Thome. Selling those stage 3 was the only way I was finishing live series collection. I know I'll probably regret it later but had to get Mantle

I absolutely agree with this. Very seldom do I have time to play a full 9 inning game also my internet is trash and constantly drops out. 3 inning games good fun and no worries

Would like to everyone's approach on telling the difference in fastball compared to slider or change-up. I swear you can throw change-up down the middle to me all game and I'd be early everytime.

This is actually one of my favorite installments of MLB THE SHOW but man this starting pitcher out of the bullpen option kinda ruins RS season for me. I really hope this is gone next year

For the next installment of mlb the show let's not release a 99 pitcher until later in the season... Last year Kershaw this year Kluber. So tired of facing the same pitcher 75% of the time. Doesn't matter if I play RS BR or events the man is in every game. If he doesn't start he comes in out of the pen.

Love ranked season and it's competitiveness and it does "do it for me". Ranked is basically the entire reason to play diamond dynasty. Would you agree that at only 1 month into the game cards such as Acuna and other great live series cards with low vision are irrelevant at hof difficulty? It's not dumbing it down to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. I work 48-60 per week 12 hour shifts. I'm also a father of two 17 year old daughters and a husband happily married 20 years . That being said when I have time off I just want to sit back relax and play a game or two. I love baseball and absolutely love playing this game., but why make RS so difficult at higher levels? With the increased pitch speeds and ridiculously small pci size it's almost impossible to get decent contact at 700 and above. I understand later on sds will release better players higher vision but I don't really have the time to build that god squad and also it makes so many cards erelevant. I'm interested in other opinions and ideas of how to make this game more enjoyable to people like myself and many others with time constraints . The best idea I've heard is 1 single pitch speed. My personal opinion is all-star speed with pci size decreasing as you move ahead in higher divisions. The best players will remain the best but at least I feel competitive and have a reason to continue playing.

Any other ideas how to improve RS? I am interested to see what others like myself think ..

Having different pitch speeds for different divisions is absolutely ridiculous. Keep pitch speeds the same (HOF or whatever) and decrease the PCI size as you move up into other RS divisions.

Man this is what I've thought all along. I don't understand why sds has never tried this.

So... What monitors do you suggest? Nothing too cheap. Nothing too expensive. Something nice in the middle for around $200-$400 maybe?

Hate to have to tell you, but monitor will not fix your fastball issues. The timing window is so far off in online play it's laughable. Go play cpu on hof or legend then try all-star online. I can promise you will see how far off online timing is as compared to offline. Which is where we go to practice. Not knocking monitors it is a better gaming experience but don't expect to much..
