Was up 5-1 with one out in the 9th inning of a ranked game and then all of a sudden I disconnect, and get the loss. I had no network issues the whole game and was able to get right back into diamond dynasty after it returned me to the menu. None of my other WiFi devices disconnected and I was playing fine before that for multiple hours.

I reported the game but is there anything else I can do that might actually get the game reversed or nullified so I don’t lose rating??

Bumping this again because this absolutely needs to be revamped. Just played a game where I was down to 4 seconds (which should never happen because I only paused to make subs), so I had to leave my pitcher in instead of going to my closer. But I’ve also seen people run out of time and then reset back to 1:30. If we aren’t going increase the timer at all, can we at least see how much time we have left without pausing so I know if I can make a move??

15 for multiple pauses in a row is the problem then. Just keep it at 5

I swear the pause timer just randomly knocks off 10-15 seconds. I don’t know if it happens if you pause back to back in quick succession, but either way the pause timer seems glitched. I’m in favor of a shorter pause timer but 1:30 is not long enough, or the timer needs to stop knocking off seconds. I shouldn’t be afraid to pinch hit or change my pitcher because I have no idea what the pause timer is at

Just had a potential play at the plate but instead of throwing home when I pressed X, my cut off man lightly tossed it to the backup cut off man right next to him. Ended up losing by 1. This can’t happen

Is this rule not in place anymore in DD? I just had a guy change pitchers for consecutive batters, and one was in the middle of the at-bat. I searched the forum and didn’t see anybody else ask this

I’m liking this mode except for one thing. I clicked on a stadium challenge and wasn’t ready to play so I hit circle to back out, but now it’s gone and I can’t go back to it. It’s possible I missed that the back button was “Forfeit”, but even still, you should be able to go back to the board without losing the challenge. Especially if you did not start the challenge

EDIT: Nevermind, you just have to go to a new spot and then you can go back to the stadium challenge

The fact that you can’t see the defensive secondary positions of your players (unless they’re batting or on base) when you’re making a substitution is so dumb.

E.g. I want to pinch hit for my 3rd basemen but need to make sure that someone else in my lineup can play 3rd.

Just me being annoyed though

How many times am I gonna force a routine ground ball double play just for my infielder to move like a [censored] tortoise and have the batter beat out the throw to first? I don’t care if my fielder is a bronze, every major leaguer can turn a routine double play

I get trying to create more offense and excitement in the game, but this ain’t it

I apologize if these have been brought up before, but I have realized two smaller things about the game that I dislike.

1. It seems as though there are no two-inning relief pitchers in this game, in terms of stamina. In the MLB, there are a decent amount of bullpen guys that can go two innings and regularly do. But in this game, it feels like halfway through the first inning, my relief pitcher is tired already

2. At times it can be so hard to pause the game or get to quick menu when the opponent brings in a new pitcher. Makes it very difficult to pinch hit in big moments. (This same thing kinda applies to getting a lead off as well)

Anybody agree or have any thoughts?

I recently got The Show for the Switch for the first time and I have noticed that I am getting social notifications in DD (pack pulls, programs finished, etc.). But I don’t have any online friends on my Switch so I am confused who these people are and why I am getting them. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks

I played The Show on PS4 through 2021 but I haven’t since then, so I apologize if this has been explained before.

An SDS developer said on twitter that the team is aware of the issue and working on a solution. It would be nice if they put out an announcement about that though and not just a twitter comment
