So far a LOT of Perfect-Perfect fly ball outs on the track with power > 99... this is not the way to make contact more relevant

For context, I'm a consistent WS player since MLB 16... HOF is awful right now. Hitting is d*mn near impossible. Pitch speeds/timing window are MASSIVELY faster/smaller than All Star and the PCIs are tic tac sized. Every game seems to be 1-0 with 30 strike outs and go on for 15 innings.

Every single one of these "suggestions" are horrible ideas.

Yeah, that new Mickey Mantle prospect card is something else right? Gary Sheffield too, can't stand how they're juicing these no-names...

The home run banner sticking around is not fixed consistently, I'm still seeing it hang around about half the time so far. Can we just remove it entirely at this point?

Hard disagree, feels great to me. Hitting should be hard, I'm not having trouble scoring runs on HOF and Legend.

Try hitting online on HOF and come back and say hitting isn't too hard. Spoiler, you won't.

Looks like you have the outer PCI ring turned off. This year, Vision impacts only the outer PCI ring. The inner ring, which is what you have visible, is purely a representation of the batter's Contact rating.

You get NONE, 0 PXP from Casual Online, as I told you on Reddit... If you go the Parallel section of any card, it very clearly tells you which modes earn you PXP.

Legend needs to start at 1000+, 100% agree. It's not fun in the slightest.

The exact opposite. I'm annoyed with this forum because there's literally 0 positivity and it's getting out of hand. No one forces you to play the game, if it's so broken it's not fun for you then just don't play it.

I hit 17 homers in a flawless run tonight in the tech test. I really don't think this is an issue. It feels identical to last year, which was fairly accurate so long the connection was good.

Yeah I had 2 in like the first 10 mins of practice hitting and it was on Legend...the DD guys are complaining cause it doesn't come every 5 at bats. This tech thing might be a bad idea cause these guys will complain the game is too hard and SDS might make it easier.

I make WS every season and I can tell you hitting is both too hard on HOF and Legend and good/great/perfect PCI placement is not being rewarded sufficiently.

What heck do people keep saying they make the world series every year?. Is this some online fluff mode?. I play Franchise with a 50 hour matured slider set on Legend hitting and pitching with max pitch speeds and the game is just about the correct difficulty. You guys that think hitting is too hard on HOF are ones that don't practice enough or you're playing on a TV.

You can't compare offline hitting or difficulty to online, it's not even close to the same.

Not OP but pitch speeds feel up to me, especially on HOF. Swinging and missing a lot more too, but still getting rewarded when squaring it up. I'm liking it a lot so far!

Hitting was WAY too easy before... This is a welcome change whether you like it or not.

Same as last year. Vast majority struggled mightily when they first hit HoF. But then they got use to it and it was the preferred difficulty for most of the decent to good players. God like hitters still preferred legend.

No it's nothing like last year. I'm very used to HOF and Legend from years past, this year it's a nightmare.

Yeah same experience here. And Kluber is a nightmare to face on anything above All Star.

Can we maybe, just maybe, give the new patch more than just a couple hours before we judge it?

There is and never has been any comeback logic in the game.
