When I go to manage teams it seems the player cards are not fully loading. Some only have the border of the card, some only have the rating, and very few others have the whole card image showing. Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah....... because having diamond teams means you have no life... sure.....
Yeah, your right. A week later and I got diamond players at every position; but I'd rather they make it more of a challenge to get a totally stacked team. Many of the diamond players, especially the Topps NOW players, never will be Hall of Famers, so why give them diamond ratings? If they only had one great game or one great week maybe they could just have a limited time boost. This would make the missions a bit more fun and challenging IMO

It takes quite literally not even 3 hours to get an all diamond team. You know you can get players in places other than the market right?

First Event I brought my lowly ranked team, hoping to be matched up with a similarly ranked team. Instead I got matched up against a team of all Diamond players. I guess some people have the time to build such teams, but for a casual player it would be nice to play against other players who have a life outside of The Show. Don't think I will try that again.

Agree. Nothing about The Show that I hate more than wasting several hours and couple thousand stubs trying to get through a showdown. I'm fine just not finishing programs though. I'd rather just miss out on a few rewards than put myself through all that irritation. There are plenty of great cards that are easier to earn in other game modes. Maybe I do a showdown if one of my favorite players is a reward but otherwise I leave that stinking showdown mess alone.

It definately seems that making contact on breaking balls is really touchy. Even if I'm barely early or barely late it usually results in a swing and miss or a check swing. Hitting breaking balls should be hard, but I think it would be more realistic if just missing on timing resulted in a poor contact result or foul tip.

Current trying analog stick swinging. Seems like I'm having the same problem, but maybe I just suck at the analog swinging.

I buy my controller at game stop and now any time I have any issues, I just bring it back, pay 11 bucks and get a brand new one. Ps5 controllers are flat out garbage. If the stick drift doesn't get you, something else will. Get one at gamestop and buy the year protection and never pay for a new controller again. Well full price anyways.
I look at it as a membership fee for my controller. Gone through too many to count since I bought the ps5. NHL does a number on them pushing in the left stick
Nice suggestion; I would assume they would have the same deal with Xbox controllers. I imagine mashing down the swing button trying to get a full swing isn't so good for the life of my controller- so some type of replacement program is probably a good move.

I'm having a major problem with check swings that is making this game totally unenjoyable to play. Even if I have perfect timing on a ball right down the center of the plate my batter will still check swing. I've read other forums and the consensus answer seems to be that I am not fully pressing the swing button-- but this is not true. Even if I mash down the swing button my batter will still check swing probably around 50% of the time. I thought maybe my controller was messed up, but changing controllers I still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me with this? I just can't keep playing a game if it makes me angry and it sucks trying to play a home run challenge when you can't swing at pitches right down the center of the plate. Is there any way to just turn off check swings? I'd rather not be able to check swing when I want to than not be able to fully swing when I want to.
Cards only partially visable

Tired of showdowns being mandatory
Anyone else struggling at the plate this year?
