People like you and OP are why there is so much hate and ill will in this world. Someone is humble enough to know they aren’t good enough to achieve certain things in life so they ask for help & you in turn feel the need to shame & humiliate them. Just remember this the next time you are in a bind in some walk of life and people refuse. And spare me the “it’s just a video game” line. This is a reflection of who you are period.

I’m 5-0 with him with a 1.2 ERA but that’s just me & I was great with his 88 overall card also. I honestly think people just have to learn how to pitch with him. Paint the corners, Pitch to contact...It really works with him!

Moments...Most of us just want to get through them as quickly as possible. I think if you guys could change two things people wouldn’t hate them as much...

1. It seems like every pitcher in moments throws nothing but worm burners for the first 3 pitches of every at bat regardless of the game situation. It is awful to have to waste time taking 3 or 4 pitches EVERY SINGLE AT BAT against a cpu. Can we maybe tighten this up a bit so the moments move faster?

2. Moments that require stolen bases...Half the time you come up to the plate and there is some slow dude on first. What the hell? Please just leave first & second open so we can take care of business. Thank you.

I keep seeing people say this but I’ve had no problems with him. He is a homerun machine vs Righties & I love how he hogs the plate. Bat him 4th & you’ll get those 4 rbis in no time man.

I like Kevin Gohd & that’s it...The rest of them suck. And I mean ALL of them.

I think this is just about the BEST idea I have ever heard on this forum. My God the weight that would be lifted off my shoulders knowing when I get screwed that it’s ok, I can just try again would be HUGE. Great idea man.

I was reading the recent thread on here comparing which is worse - Madden or The Show. Tons of good examples were posted of what is wrong with each of them. Well it got me thinking....Back to 2004 when me & my friends had PS2s and we all played MVP baseball 2004, Madden 2004 & NCAA Football 2004. We LOVED these games & had a blast. There were no patches or updates - The games were the same at launch as they were when you traded them in the following year. Nobody ever complained about gameplay and I never got frustrated or mad at the game other than the occasional heartbreaking loss to someone you really wanted to beat lol. So it got me thinking...When & why did sports games devolve into the current state of games we have?

It is exactly the same, Nothing is different gameplay wise. It’s just different graphics on the feedback.

I just can’t win. Every single time this year I always pull the lowest tier possible.

When I play COD, Battlefront or any shooter and I shoot someone in the head it registers as a headshot & they die - Everytime 100%.

In Madden when I throw to a open receiver & I have a clean pocket with no defensive pressure it’s a catch 100% of the time.

I’m pretty much a .500 player in all games across the board - Win some, Lose some. Doesn’t bother me to lose when the other guy just outplayed me. Tip my hat & move on.....That’s where my problem with the show comes in. It seems every game there are tons of plays where I should be rewarded but am not. Example - I have the 98 Griffey. 125 power against both. I hit the ball just SLIGHTLY off of perfect into the good range - Dead center PCI...And it’s a fly out. He has MAX POWER...A good timing in the center of the pci with that power should be a homer EVERY SINGLE TIME. That’s one example of many that happen in a game and THAT is what’s so frustrating. Then he’ll come up with Tony Gwynn and hit a slider oppo for a homer lol.

In closing - I don’t mind losing when I’m outplayed. It’s when stuff like this happens that it infuriates me and I have to take a week off between playing RS games or else my head will explode.

I just can’t state this enough...I HATE playing people. They are one of two things - Either ridiculously better than me and that makes me furious or they are toxic and hold R2, bunt cheese, ect....I’m just over playing people.

I don’t care if this guy exaggerated or not. It’s a gaming forum. Much like fishermen at the camp exaggerating the size of fish, Gamers do the same thing.

What does get me though is that someone would take the time to hop onto their PS4 then look up this guy, Go to his game history & analyze/read up on his past games so they can then “expose” him on here. Just wow. People are just terrible human beings anymore.

Players need to try to hit productively every at bat because of the way arbitration works. If Tatis hits 39 homers & say Lindor hit 40, The Padres would absolutely argue that he shouldn’t get Lindor money because he didn’t hit 40. Believe that!

I love Posada. He’s cheeks in the field but he hits better than any other catcher & it’s not even close.

I complain when things are not done well and I also give props when they’re due. This WS program is a big W for several reasons.

1. Moments that are challenging but not overly hard.
2. The missions can all be completed offline without having to deal with the toxic online events people.
3. All 50 points are attainable by playing the moments & missions without having to waste stubs on completing a collection where you have to lock in players you’ll never use again.

Well done SDS, Keep it up.

Shippett shouldn’t even be in the game seeing as how it’s not a real stadium. Why SDS doesn’t use the real AAA stadiums is beyond me, They own the rights to do so. Good question for Victor@SDS.

Personally I haven’t noticed any difference. Feels like a Placebo patch to me. Still getting more perfect/perfect outs than I am reaching base safely. Still getting bad contact from good/good.

You’re right, He does a good job...But it’s just something about him that rubs me the wrong way as well....I know it’s silly but it pisses me off that he always wears long sleeve shirts even when he’s at a 100 degree baseball game in August or when he’s on the beach....He also has a face that I just want to see someone come in off camera and punch him in it lol. And just his general demeanor pisses me iff.

It’s so interesting how some players work for some & not for others.....For me Mantle has been the best hitter on my team BY FAR & I would argue he’s the best DD player ever. I’m only 2 runs away from prestige Mantle as well. Hope he turns it around for you.
