Not that it matters to the context but 872 is probably 2 more wins

True, but it is also possible to make it from 872 in one win. However, this doesn't justify begging others to quit and naming your team asking for petty handouts.

you are right mate in all of what you say - but don't get so emotional over it - there are tons of kids begging for stats in the events etc.
just walk their prestige guys intentionally and strike the side kind of thing if it really bothers you

Lmao offline grinders are evolving.

First game I played in the new event was a guy saying “HR w/Walker and I quit.” He was the home team and gave me 6 homers in the first. I walked Walker and K’d the side with Orel. He beaned me and quit in the top of the 2nd. Love it!

hahaha fantastic

I don’t see the issue. Either don’t go along with it, ignore it, or say no thanks. If someone wants to give me a free win to get a hit or HR, great! Saves me time.

People like you and OP are why there is so much hate and ill will in this world. Someone is humble enough to know they aren’t good enough to achieve certain things in life so they ask for help & you in turn feel the need to shame & humiliate them. Just remember this the next time you are in a bind in some walk of life and people refuse. And spare me the “it’s just a video game” line. This is a reflection of who you are period.

Your comment to me is borderline offensive in its delusion and naivety.
You’re literally feeling bad and making an excuse for someone that’s ranked 872 in a week and a half in ranked seasons?!? Someone that’s currently the top 1% of the top 1%.
You want to put that in context to the real world. It’s a billionaire standing in line and asking you to pay their bill because they don’t feel like reaching into their pocket.You want to talk about what’s ruining society. It’s individuals that that form strong opinions regarding situations where they’re incapable of seeing beyond the most simplistic surface level.

That’s a quite an assumption to make about someone’s character based on so little. Impressive intuition. Thank you for exposing me.
I noticed that you described wanting video game stats as a “bind.” I applaud your empathy, sir.
Please, excuse me for not losing sleep over denying free stats for a Larry Walker prestige card. I’ll strive to be a better person, I swear. I too can make a difference.

I found it guys! The most ridiculous thing anyone has ever said on this message board!

@rymflaherty @Bob_Loblaw1984 @PhatWhiteOwl
Y'all are being really harsh to this guy. Yes, you don't have to help a guy out when they try to get stats. But I do think that if their only goal is to get stats then quit, then I don't have a problem with that and I do think that it does show compassion and empathy to help another human out when they can't do something by themselves. To question your character is harsh as well I will say that, but I do think it can show you somethings about one's character, such as how someone takes advantage behind a screen by being rude because its the internet and nobody knows who you are. With that being said, I'm not judging you people or saying that you have to give people stats when they ask, but don't be completely rude to the guy and let the guy share his thoughts. He's not being totally ridiculous so if you don't like what he says, there are ways to disagree without being so harsh. -

btw the guy was only talking about giving the guy stats, not boosting his rating. I am totally against begging for rating. I probably won't give someone stats if they ask because I don't trust anyone, but quitting after being given a homerun I think is fine.
