In storylines I was wondering why they talked about Walter Johnson and had Babe Ruth pitch.

I love the double XP weekends, I’d love later on in the summer if they’d added some “wild card” weekends, in which you could use any card in ranked for the weekend, especially in august and September.

I just think when set 4 hit and I new I had to re grind again, it unmotivated me to play. 99 day ones never bothered me because as we have seen with trout and their 125 attribute scale that two 99s are not always the same, but it’s the grind for same card became one becomes useless is not motivating.

I think the main issue is that 99s are not 99s in other games because of the 125 ratings scale, and other games have a 99 rating scale. Look at Trout his WBC 99 might be a true 99 and his 30/30 might be like 111, but they put 99 on the card.

I think they need to allow players to play for whatever team they played on. I’m not a Mets fan, but their catcher situation is a mess. Gary Carter is the captain, but his best card is the World Series reward, so that cancels, piazza is a dodger, and Alvarez’s 99 is set one, so basically it’s mess if you want to run a theme team. I know they just got an XP 97 catcher. But it’s insane that we have to rely on what team SDS puts the uniform on the card, but they want us to use themes. I feel like this needs to change for next year.

I feel like mostly people get bored of the same cards anyway, I mean sure 99 chipper would stay all year, but they should take the restrictions out of ranked.

Set was great, the WBC cards and players that were never in the game was fun. Plus we got guys like Andrew Chafin getting diamonds and thought see more players like that get cards, but it’s seems like it’s jus been an alternating unusable 97 usable 99 of the same players or two 99s, one being slightly worse and doesn’t work useable captains. I think they can improve the model in the future, and make things like set collections core or parallel cards to core.

The only way to get points is to have to mind set if you’re losing to not quit, which a lot of people don’t.

It all matters. Here is two big theme team examples. Mike Piazza and Nolan Arenando. Giving players the ability to play on any team they played for makes it so you’re not at the mercy of SDS whether Piazza is a dodger or met (or marlin lol) or if Arenando is a Rockie or Cardinal. Goose becomes a very important because he played on like 10 teams. And that allows for a top tier righty on all those teams.

I think the also need to find a way to code it so that players who played for certain teams count for every team they played on, some teams have no shot of having a decent team or bullpen, while others have a plethora. They also need to figure out if player has a captain card and a better overall, it shouldn’t be punishment to use the captain.

There going to always gain players in the beginning and lose people to madden, 2k, FIFA (or whatever it’s called now) and NHL in the fall. It’s why we had sets and seasons to let people use 99s of cards early. They know this ahead of time, if someone wants to play madden, they’re going to play, No amount content will stop that.

I’d love and immortals program in a one of the seasons, but make it almost no grind.
