This makes the game totally unenjoyable. It also makes hitting windows almost impossible.
I live in Tennessee, so maybe I don't have the east coast connection, but f**k.
This will be one and only year playing this game.
I have already put ~700 hours into this, so I will see it through, but holy sh*t, it is not fun anymore.
Yea, if you're not close to the servers the game is a straight joke. I'm throwing slow pitch softball in this event. Sub 3 era in ranked and I can't get anyone out. Just had a DS player put up 10 on me. It was like I was setting the ball on the tee. Good/good swings in the pci are usually outs for me.
I got to thinking about all your internet theories and I think maybe you have it backwards. I played some guy that was in Venezuela….went to his twitch….and he was hitting like .420 in World Series and I could not get him out. His pitches to me were warping.
Not necessarily. Are you sure he was physically located in Venenzuela? Maybe SDS has servers in different parts of the world.
Fun facing those warping pitches isn't it? I dealt with them before but the last 2 seasons have been all the time.
Played Verlander back to back games last night. First game I basically had to pre-swing to catch up to the fastball and second game I was pulling home runs with ease.
For my opponents it was reversed. The first guy I played he could easily hit the fastball and my second opponent was a mile behind everything.
Not sure what SDS has going on with their online connections but it isn’t good.
I don't know either. Just a theory after countless hours of research on my end. Changing and adjusting everything on my end too including purchasing a good router instead of the fiber network box. IMO, they need more servers and it needs to match better according to both parties pings to that server. I truly think this is by far the biggest issue with this game.
Last I checked pitching_rebel was 30-0 this season. He would make WS at my house but wouldn't sniff 30-0. To be 30-0 you have to be good and have the good connection every game. I think you want to be near the servers and have internet that isn't good enough to put you on other servers. I'm not giving up my fiber for games (watch too many shows and movies). Being so far from the servers, I'm not convinced it would help much.
I see these HOF pitch speeds on these streamers and if that is supposed to be the speed, I would score 8+ runs a game. Actually, the few games I do see those speeds they don't last long. I don't mind losing. I would like to see those pitch speeds way more often than not. Isn't like that any more.
