Stop trying to force these modes that people hate on us. They should be optional to complete a program (for offline players). Moments are the worst. No one says, "I can't wait for more moments". They say, "I HAVE to do these real quick to get back to playing what I actually enjoy".
If you're going to force showdown on us, you can't let disconnects lead to not getting the runs or failing completely. This has happened to me several times. For a casual player like me, runs are crucial. Maybe I am wrong and just venting because I hate this mode and it is causing me stress that I won't complete a program but I think I have some valid points that SDS needs to hear.

I believe SDS is merely trying to spread some variety to the many diverse gamers out here and their ever spanning thirst for quantity not quality.

Just give Showdown a chance. The Devs are doing the best they can to be creative and accommodating to all. It's a tightrope they must walk.

How about a 90+ Diamond Milestone Card to commemorate the 56 game hitting streak? That would be pretty cool!

A side note: The Field Of Dreams Program and stadium are awesome! Great job SDS!

My guess is Shoeless Joe's lifetime ban from MLB took him off of the Diamond of the month club. As does the steroid era villains. MLB licensing is quite the fickle and political beast.

You broke me down I pre-ordered the Dynasty Edition (over $130 with tax).

Haven't played the game since 2016. All the yapping in this forum drove me to it. It will probably be the same contrived experience it was in 2016 but, hey, maybe they've fixed things in the last 6 years.

I will be able to play it Monday. Yeehaa. Should be fun for about 2 weeks then slowly but surely the lack of reality will set in and I'll be heading to the EA forums flaming FUT...edit MUT.

I've already been their flaming FUT after the brief excursion the past 3 weeks didn't turn out very well. The DDA in that game makes The Show's look non-existent.

I'm thinking if we could figure out a way to work lack of empathy for the customer base they are driving to drugs and alcohol with their frustrating game, perhaps we'll get some action. I guess telling us to just quit playing is the answer.

It's like telling someone you got strung out on scratch-cards or slot-machines to just quit if you aren't getting the results you want.

Joking of course, it is sort of morbid and very disrespectful to take shots at the deceased. At least Doc was "something" once, more than any of us will likely ever be. Tons of ppl would have traded places with him despite the untimely.

Build the perfect MLB gaming experience..emphasis on game controlled by the player and his controller..not random AI intervention. I'll be back in a New York second.

This game is good (great animation), but it sure has some warts. One day maybe.

In other news, I was chosen for the FIFA 22 closed Beta. Downloading that bad boy as I type. From tomorrow until 9/2.

Pre-order early-release of Madden on Monday. I'm gonna be busier than a one-legged man at an azz-kickin' contest.

The game isnt broken, you just need to get better. Plain and simple.

Be patient. It's always best to "take" anything even slightly out of the zone. Let the pitcher wear himself down. The more pitches and walks the more your chances of success go up drastically. Once they get into the low-side of confidence and energy, they will become quite hittable.

Easy for you. Those that hate online play for a variety of reasons will find it to be hell. I would guess there are modes you would hate to play even though they may be “easy”.

Play another human being that you can think along with or beat your head against the wall playing Showdown? EZPZ

Again, “easy” is subjective. There’s no sense in having a discussion with you. You are just a troll with a superiority complex.

Not to split hairs, but I believe the term "easy" would be more construed as "relative" as opposed to subjective. The poster, in reference, was drawing a comparison to other modes when using the expression "easy".

So, I understand your intent and it's perfectly OK. Just not perfect English, and there is nothing at all wrong with that. But for future reference, consider my instruction.
