Just a guess here, but you could try creating a nee user profile.

Is Home Run Derby the only game mode that supports more than two online players?

Create a new user profile in gm.

I found that Share Play can be used to play minor league games and stadiums online. Why is it not allowed for online Exhibition Games?

@Irdestructible practice your base running skills. I recommend going into practice mode hitting, set runners on base and tinker. Early steal with a man at first and third, R2 to hold individual runner etc. manually stealing by timing the pitcher is gold if you get good at it. Good base running often will be the outcome of a close knot game
