  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

87x Tribute Chase Packs opened with stated odds of (1 in 6 packs for a (99) Diamond player). Packs were collected and stashed from 100% Program completion, 1x Conquest 100% completion, and about 5-6x Showdown runs… (I think I finished 5x full showdowns, and 1x to round before final Boss), I ran about 9x total showdowns, 1x I lost at 2nd stage, and another Ix I lost at stage 4. Biggest gap of NO Diamond pulls was packs 53- 69, best run was 4x Diamonds in my first 12 packs

Showdown has become very easy to beat on this program, probably the easiest one to date. If you select all speed guys, there are tons of 80+ Speed guys for Diamond selection. I maxed out guys with best speeds. Most of these guys also have a 40+ for drag bunts. Top players used were, Andrus, Yelich, Segura, Heyward,

Best non program guys used: Ricky Henderson, CJ Abrams, Lou Brock, Dee Gordan, Alberto Mondesii, Johny Damon, Jimmy Rollins, Derick Jeter, either Griffey, lots of Topps Now and Prospects Speedsters. Even ur Comon reserve trash players are great Speed and drag bunt. Half the time I had a 86+ Speed and 40+ drag bunt common leading off and usually get on base as the silver and gold bunt cheese perks help with no one on base.

Always steal and if your player has 80+ Speed and 40 + on stealing I think I was safe 98% of the time. Get that guy to 2nd to avoid double plays

In opening draft u can probably score 6x speedsters above 80+.

Focus on nothing but Bunt Boost and Vision. My main perks were only those 2 and best combination I like Is the Silver vision boost or Diamond Vision. The Silver I nice as u get perk when behind in the count.

I always used 2x bunt boost, the Diamond Cheese bunt is game over and usually used a 2nd Bunt of the gold or silver.

This Combo is deadily as I just kept bunting, even with bases loaded, if u got those perks and bunt, they will make it safely home 75% of time, sometimes 50% if ur not the best at bunting. That's assuming ur men on base have 80+ Speed. To be honest I would rather bunt and fail giving up 1 out then try to hit and get double played as that happens a ton in Showdown.

I used no other perks other then Vision or Bunt Cheese. If you haven't tried it, you should because in Showdown we all know PCU players are all HOF goldgloves!

I can get through a entire Showdown in 1 hr with this method and my last 4 tries I won 3 and lost the stage before boss.

MIGGY had great Drag Bunt surprisingly and so does Moustakas. They can bring in ur speedster, but will not likely make it to first safely.

I hope this info helps and it's super fun!

  • WOW - BEST 2 CARDS IN THE GAME, CAPTAIN RIPKEN Jr & ROLLINS - SUPER TEAM!!!
  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

WOW - BEST 2 CARDS IN THE GAME, CAPTAIN RIPKEN Jr & ROLLINS - SUPER TEAM!!!

    Hello,
I have been trying to build the most incredible lineup and a few weeks ago discovered CAPTAIN - Cal Ripken Jr & Jimmy Rollins are incredible!!! Everyone struggles with the Extreme Program and this set up has helped drastically! Especially for the average player like myself.

I do have most of the cards in the game, but these captains are incredible and easily worth the roster spot even though they are not 99s.

Many of you gamers might already know this, but if you don't, buy these players while they are fairly cheap. 95 Captain Ripken was at the market before update at $300k and has went to as high as $390k. Currently he's at about $45k which is a steal. Rollins was as high as $250k I think and is now at $130k or so.

Ripkens Team boost: You have a team of 11+ hitters with a Durability of 99. All players with 99 durability will recieve:

    +10 Contact vs Right

    +15 Contact vs Left

    +10 Batting Clutch

    +5 Fielding Ability.

With these buffs my entire team was all 125+ for right and left Contact and most were at 120-125 Clutch.

This made games so much easier as there are some incredible players with a Durability 99! Lots of flexibility as about 50x 99 players have a Durability of 99! If you haven't tried Ripken as Captain, please do as you won't regret it!!! He's incredible!

Rollins is kind of the same way. His team boost is any player with a primary or secondary SS position. Which is a ton of amazing players that are eligible Shortstops produced almost the same as Ripken. Rollins team boost are: 11 players with Shortstop as primary or secondary position will recieve:

    +15 Contact Right

    +10 Contact Left

    +15 Batting Clutch

    +5 Speed.

My whole team was maxed and created an amazing Bunt/Steal team and was able to have my starting 9 all have 125 for Contact vs Right and Left, 120-125 Clutch. And 93-99 speed. There were 6 players with maxed Contact and Speed and the other 3 were close. Rollins with the boost was almost maxed and was like 115 & 110 Contact with a 93 speed or something.

I tried it on a extreme Conquest game and hit 7 consecutive good bunts and scored 3 and then happend to hit a Grand slam for a additional 4. Putting me up

    7-0 after the first inning.

Anyways, just wanted to post this for the people who don't know about Ripken and Rollins.

Between the 2 captains you can make 2 amazingly different teams for all the programs and missions. This has rejuvenated my thirst to play the game as tinkering with this was alot of fun and the results were incredible!

Just wanted whoever that didn't know to scoop up Ripken while he is extremely cheap before he goes back up to $200k. Rollins is a little more expensive, but trust me, these will become the corner stones of your teams!

Ripken and set 1 captains fell in price drastically because the Fire Sale Captain Pack for 1 hour on Friday. I expect Ripken to be back over $100k within a few days/next weekend and above $200k by the end of August!

Any other Show Gamers have any special Tricka or Teams they use to beat the more difficult Contact? I'm curious to try new teams and always open to learning and evolving.

    Best of luck!

  • Extreme Program and Co Opp help
  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

    Hello,
I've been trying to complete the Extreme Program and it is insanely difficult!

I'm a huge Griffey fan since 9 years old, actually have 3,000+ baseball cards of him in real life. The Extreme Griffey looks amazing and I'm sure he plays amazing as well!!!

I have 41 stars out of the 100 in Extreme Program. I have been able to comple the Exchange set with Javie Baez, Tom Glavine, Bruce Sutter for the 28 Stars. I have completed 3x Moments for another 13 stars. The down 8-1 and come back and win, the Griffey HR, and the Billy Wagner 7 games no runs.

I have tried the Piazza HR and XBH about 100x+ and every good hit or perfect hit is caught or super HOF fielded. I have Rage quit several times. I played a few other Moments like Elly and Shoei and either have horrible luck or they are playing at a Legend level.

I don't play much PVP. I'm a average player, maybe a little above average... I have every Program completed at 100%, except for Extreme and a few Affinitys set 2 programs which 2x are complete and 4x of them are at 83%, 90%, 78%, 83%.

I have all sets complete as far as Core, Live, Set 1, Set 2, and almost done with 3. They haven't released enough cards to complete set 3 yet. But I do have 99.7% of all cards that have been released and can easily buy the few I'm missing. I have about 10Million stubs total from Daily Flipps. 5Mill ish in my bank and another 5Mill on players saved for low bids that won't win to just hoard. I set in morning and sell in afternoon and it usually nets me about 200k-300k a day with minimal work.

I set about 200 orders in am, win about 50 while I'm at work and post and repost once work is done. I'm missing like 12 players out of everything thats been released so far... Missing: Elly Delacruz, Ian Kinsler, Nolan Ryan, Rube Foster, Martin Dihigio, Audley Rutchman, Mike Piazza, Matt Cain, Rob Dibble, Evan Longoria, Kerry Wood. I haven't bought these players as their price will plummet when set 4 releases and can probably buy all of them for half the price. I don't really need those players now anyways as the sets are already complete and have all of the most important rewards from collections that are meaningful.

I've been playing with Rollins Captain and a killer team of SS and secondary SS for maxed level 3 boost and have the Right and Left contact Boost with Clutch close to maxed out, with maxed speed guys. Starting 9 are all 125's for Right and Left Contact, and all Vision is around 105-125 for each, all speed is 91 or higher except Joe Mauer. 6 of the starting 9 are maxed 99-99 for speed and stealing. 5 of them are maxed Bunting and drag bunt. All players are 110 or higher for Clutch. Pretty insane team with massive perk players, my starting 9 has most perks availing i think. Someone may know a better team to play with?. I was playing with a Ripken Captain Team for a while, which was pretty good but The Ripken Team lacked speed and feel the Rollins team is the best? Unless someone knows of a better team to use for Conquest?

Just looking for pointers or any help, suggestions. Maybe Play Co Opp and give me live pointers or something. If I could straight up buy the Griffey and complete set for like $2million stubs, I probably would. I wish they did have that option so I can just buy it and reduce this insane un ENJOAYBLE grind. I am only wanting my favorite player. GRIFFEY who has been one of my idols for about 30 years, since I was about 9 years old.

Just feeling like I'm getting supper annoyed and discouraged and wasting huge amounts of time and no matter how perfect I hit the ball, it's caught and legendary fielded or something on these moments and in games. I know it's suppose to be insanely difficult. I guess I'm not good enough?

I've probably wasted about 24 hours of continuous game play and have nothing to show for it really. I could have spent 24 hours flipping market and made like 1-2Million lol.

Sorry for the long ramble, I've looked at YouTube videos, but that's only helped a bit. I have tried showdown and get slaughtered.

I'm playing the Conquest Extreme now, and won my first 2 games, just scared to play the next game out of fear I will lose, then get attacked and wiped out, then have to restart.

That Conquest is like 25 points or something. I think if I can just get the Conquest passed along with the Showdown and a few moments, I can grind the rest.

My 11 year old son was helping but gave up as it's to the point where it's not even fun anymore... I feel bad for him as he really wanted the Griffey as I have showed him Video and he looks at me Griffey cards all the time.

Any help or pointers would be amazing. I guess this is my last effort before I just quit on the Extreme. You do get 3 stars for every 10k in XP and is repeatable, plus the 15 stars for grinding with the 2 Extreme players I have already earned. But that will take months and maybe even won't finish till the next years game releases, lol.

Best of luck to all of you who have read this and thank you for any hints or pointers.

  • BIGGEST BS EVER!!!! 10 X CHASE PACKS ALL LOW LIVE DIAMONDS, YOU GOT SERIOUS ISSUES SDS- PATHETIC
  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

It's the point, you would figure 10x chase backs would yield at least 1 guy above a 90? Considering 90s players aren't to exciting this year.

The real question is... think if you had 10x chase packs. And 450 regular packs. Would you consider it good luck or bad luck to not pul a player of 90+?

  • BIGGEST BS EVER!!!! 10 X CHASE PACKS ALL LOW LIVE DIAMONDS, YOU GOT SERIOUS ISSUES SDS- PATHETIC
  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

I said hoping. I knew I wasn't going to pull him. But I thought a player above a 90 was plausible.

  • BIGGEST BS EVER!!!! 10 X CHASE PACKS ALL LOW LIVE DIAMONDS, YOU GOT SERIOUS ISSUES SDS- PATHETIC
  • Ipinall165_MLBTSI Ipinall165_MLBTS

Wow SDS, WOW- How do 10x set 5 CHASE packs all open for garbage low live series Diamonds. Not a single diamond above 89!!! I got 1x89, 1x87, and 8x 85-86 players. Too funny! There is noway RNG is that bad! I'm still spechless!!!

I grind and grind and grind, flip and flip and flip for 10x chase packs hoping for a half way decent... I was hoping for a Elly, but thought I would have at least got a 90 player plus+. Nope, packs are garbage! Highest value card was $7500 stubs or something.

I wasn't expecting Elly, just hoping.. but definitely was not expecting a single player to not make 90+

I spent about 450k in stubs for 8 bundles. And out of those 8 bundles I got maybe 5-6 low diamonds and a few diamond gear & unlockable that didn't even break $2k lol.

It's scenarios like this that make people never want to spend money.

I like ur game because I like baseball. But I hate so many things about what u guys do. It makes me want to go play Madden football!!

I would love to load up some screen shots but can't figure out how...
