This year doesn’t feel the same. I used to try to complete all the programs, XP path and collection awards but this year I have no desire to turn the game on. I used to be excited about playing this game but now it’s even a thought. I’ll play some games because I know if I don’t I’ll miss out on a lot of content but I don’t really care if I miss out on content anymore.

There are so many issues with this game and the biggest issue is packs. All the cards you would want to use are in packs and have a higher overall than program cards. The seasons and sets [censored] y'all are doing is stupid AF and clearly only done to get people to buy stubs, and packs.

XP cap is BS. Not everyone can play 5 days a week and maybe want to spend 2 days a week playing a lot to catch up XP wise.

Pitching out of the stretch using pinpoint is too fast for a lot of pitchers. There are so many cheap hits on bad contact but then there is also issues with low exit velocity on good PCI placement and good timing.

So to SDS. You have ruined this franchise from the standpoint of a 10 year customer.

Great post but most of the people using these forums are SDS boot lickers.

Cringe, corny, desperate, boring, and sweaty these are the words I’ll use to describe the people that use the switch hitter boost. All these great cards and you choose this boost because you need every advantage you can get.

Yea I lost to people using this boost, yes I’ve beaten people using this boost. It’s just boring and makes the games more of a sweat fest than they already are.

Most recent video highlights a lot about what people have been saying already. Good to know we got some content creators calling out SDS.

As someone who has hated playing on hall of fame in the past. I agree that it’s more enjoyable for me this year to play on HOF

Would be a lot cooler if card restrictions weren’t a thing. I wonder what theme teams would be like with out these restrictions. Will have to wait till January to find out I guess. Who was like yeah Captain cards great idea. Then someone was like I got an idea. Let’s make it so after every season they don’t get to use those cards for next season In ranked. This making theme teams pointless.

The idea of theme teams is to build a team of legends and flashback cards. Not live series cards.

They didn’t want people to just be able to buy the live series collection and then not have to spend money on packs. So they nerfed the collection in hopes that people would buy more of the choice packs instead

The only people affected by the XP cap are the people that don’t play 40 hours a week. I’m at 365k xp and I have been playing on my days off like it’s a second job. I already told myself if I don’t get all 3 boss cards by the end of this season I’ done with the game. Wouldn’t be that hard to quit this year either because the game sucks. Only reason I’m playing is because there is no other baseball game to play.

Are they just not gonna fix Skenes outlier perk?

Because people complain that people used exploits to get boss cards. I could care less when someone else gets the card. Also Xp is probably being nerfed for power creep.

Don’t buy any low rated cards. Just wait for 97-99 and buy those.

You mean you don’t want to spend it on those packs in the store so you can get 90 OVR cards?

To honor a great man, and great baseball player. Not only do they have the opportunity to honor him but to get a huge win within the community by making Willie Mays S1 card a core card.

I remember a couple of years ago how I made a comment here about how I enjoyed playing with current players flashbacks more than Legend cards.

Well it’s 2024 now and it seems that the main focus on the game is flashback cards. This is making me miss how DD was more revolved around legends in the past. SDS is seriously lacking in the legends department. Games like NBA2k and Madden seem to have every player you could imagine as a legend. I don’t play those games so maybe I’m wrong.

This game desperately needs more legends. I have listed some I would like to see. Some who used to be in the game that I went back.
