i just had the same thing happen. wasnt this an issue last year too?

no matter how fast or slow you move the stick past the top circle it locks the circle instead of being able to finish the motion so you get maybe 40% no matter what.
ive also tried with an old controller with similar results. i can send my controller in for a new one but if its the controllers in general i feel like it would be a waste of time. and if its not something that sds cant fix, why is it so hard for them to say it?

so i have given up and am willing to send in my controller for a new one but i would like to if anyone at SDS could give even the slightest clarity on why the splitter bugs out on xbox or what causes it. and i mean an actual SDS employee. not that i don't want feedback from this community but 4 months into this game and there isn't a hard answer from the people who make the game is borderline infuriating.

OP is your ego that fragile you have to come on here and try and have a pity party because you can't complete a mission cause clearly that mission fail as well

This is an awful take,,, why does everything have to be earned by offline grinding? Now i know this particular program allows you to get the cards without the offline grinding which is perfect but your takes are always coming from the offline grinder perspective. If you like offline grinding then you most certainly should have ways to get cards and be challenged but you will always be in the minority when it comes to any game like this. Most hate to offline grind.

Let's step back for a second, I have been on here for years supporting both online and offline play so my take is coming from a dual mode perspective.

My point was merely that this forum has turned into a cry fest because things are to hard. Life is hard so suck it up battle it out and get it done!! Don't cry because SDS made something that takes longer then 2 minutes to complete

while i do think the "crying" is alot of people posting in the heat of the moment, i think you might be a little of on your take. you're right, life is hard so people partake in forms of entertainment to get a break from the stresses of life, video games being one of them. if this video game had problems and you voice those problems and you cant even get a simple reply on it from people whos job it is to make the game, people get increasing upset. on the topic of moments that either you get it done first try (wither lucky or not) or strugle for 15-30 mins, alot of people fall into the struggling category.they feel like there time isn't respected and its a fair felling to have. i could go on but at this point 80% od this forum stopped reading so ill end with a genuine question?
if i ask for a moment of your time, how long are you willing to give me?

Nope, just something to work on between all the easy stuff. Like multiple extreme programs/conquest/moments through the year.

Yea I’d take a big conquest extreme program drop for sure. But I’m guessing you mainly play offline. Which is fine of course because online can be frustrating but you do have to remember when you’re doing that you’re cutting out a huge portion of grinding. I know when o was playing online more a few weeks ago there is no way I could have done RS, BR and events and kept up with offline. I had to cut out some and choose what rewards I was going for.

Now if you’re getting 40 in RS, completing events and BR programs and doing all the offline stuff, I mean there’s only so much they can put out and making the programs longer isn’t going to fix it for you imo.

^^^ exactly! Offline content should be in addition to online content. If you are playing the entire DD game mode, there is no way you are out of things/content to grind for. Playing the computer on rookie all day is fun for you?

Challenge yourself and play online, you have to start somewhere

i take the play online comment with a grain of salt. not that its wrong but why would i want to play online when its so inconsistent. its a coin flip if a fastball is coming in at 102 or 201. people would probably play online more if connectivity to each other wasnt such a glaring problem.

i think the 2 biggest problem with this game as a whole is

1. there's no real conversation on what's done well and what's done horribly wrong.
   by that i mean its always so polarizing , its everything suck and everyone should be fire(looking at you guy in charge of moments) or its the combination of "that's baseball" "quit playing then" and the classic "get gud" none of that gets to what causes peoples problems with the game or if it could be operator error.
2. if you give criticism and the people who could engage with the community and either answer questions or take that criticism to someone who could maybe implement that criticism if it would change the game for the good, and they just ghost everything that isn't a meme post or has nothing to do with game, did you really give criticism? there's posts with list of good question and criticism they haven't been even addressed for weeks. i really wonder why anyone posts on this forum cause there not listening positive or negative.

was totally worth it for me. pulled my very first trout.

id like to see some sort of speed up for conquest. moving from spot to spot or taking anything that isnt a stronghold is so slow. if i start pondering the mysteries of the universe, it take to long to sim spots.

i wouldnt say glitch but yes xbox will drop pinpoint inputs on low batteries

i just tried with my xbox one controller and still have the same problem. no matter how slow i go it still locks up and says too fast

have they addressed the issue with splitters use PPP yet or did they ignore it?

This is the correct answer. I always do this when I have to do a moment with a guy whose swing i dont like.

but this isnt a solution to the problem the OP has. yes direction hitting would possibly ease the frustration but the core problem is a difficulty not being the same experience throughout the different game modes but, along with many other problems in this game it will never be addressed unless it hurts the bottom line.

the funny thing is if you look at the card on the site it has outfielder secondary's

i feel like it comes down to poor game design. if power equates to how hard you hit the ball how is it possible to hit a homerun with a card with 0 power but have more than your fair share of balls hit with a card at the maximum power die at or before the warning track. i just wish i understood this game at its core level.

i think LS ohtani has a splitter as well

idk where you live but your best bet anytime soon is the next 3 games against the yanks or the series in august against Baltimore

to be fair, there are a lot of people that would discredit his opinion without any counter thoughts on this game or try to get a rise out of him with the good ol "tldr you suck get over it". there's a lot of trolls or those of blind faith on these forums.

i wonder if there like "hey watch this, lets give people PTSD of the first 2-3 weeks the game came out"
