I don't really understand what you're getting at about stealing but I did see in the main settings that you can set RTTS to "skip to next appearance or watch whole game", instead of having to select it in game.

There has been an in game, on screen option (Triangle/square on playsttion) To "skip to next appearance" or to "Watch full game" for the past few years. It's gone now.

It sucks if you want to watch part of a game but not all of it.

It sounds silly/lazy, but having to hit pause, then move over three time to select "next appearance" and then it goes into sim mode befor eyou get to your next appearance really adds a lot of time, extra button pushes and frustrations to playing.

Same for me. Jankowski has been in the game since I started playing it, and Travis Jankowski is still in the game, but the name is missing for me to use.

Anytime I create a "new" RTTS and/or Ballplayer, it changes all of my info/appearance to the new player. Same as last year's "bug" that seems to have slipped through.

At 32, overall 99, ridiculous stats, best player in the league blah blah blah, I just signed a 10 year 3 million dollar deal.

Yep. $300k per year because I want my team to have the most money they can possibly have to sign more free agents.

Cobtract amount need to have some kind of reward or benefit.

Yep. I've reported both of these issues multiple times for the past month.
Its feels as if DD is the main concern and RTTS gets the short end constantly.
Hell, the infield shift has been broken for years and they haven't acknowledged it or fixed it.

I've been complaining about this since the first week.

It happens so often, this is a clip of me, live on stream predicting EXACTLY what will happen.

This game almost always feel predetermined and that the opposing team always plays to the height of their capabilites instead of to an average of those capabilities.
Every game, every team I play plays their best game and my pitchers and teammates rarely ever do. It's infuriating.

Update: 10 games and 14 rbi later, they finally said something about it.
Still nothing about my stolen bases record and I'm at 150 and counting now.

It just anniys me that hr milestones are covered, but all time records in other categories aren't.

Baseball is about stats and history more than any other sport and missing on those moments is a huge miss for this franchise.

So, I'm in year 2027 in RTTS.
Last night, in the same game, I broke Rickey Henderson's 1982 single season steal record of 130 and I broke the 1930 single season RBI record or 191.

The announcers didn't say anything. After the steal, they did a normal highlight and nothing else, and after a double to drive in the run, they commented on the pitching coach going to the mound to talk to the pitcher.

Stats and records are more important to baseball than any other sport and it's highly disappointing to see records that have stood for nearly 100 years fall and not a word is mentioned in game about it.

It's odd, and honestly pretty stupid, that for 400 HR, (in the 5th inning of a regular season game) there's an I game moment where my player takes a curtain call, his whole team greets him at home plate, yet for these huge monumental records, not a single word.

Please fix this for next year.

This is honestly the most disappointed I've ever been in this game.

I would like something to do with my contract money.

Sure, I get offered 8 years at $280+million, but why take it? You're just ducking that team out of beaing able to sign other players.

You get nothing for your contract money.

So how about a system of in game contract dollars to stubs to buy equipment/cards to use in RTTS?

Maybe a ratio of 1:10,000 you'd get 1 stub for every $10k in contract money.

My player is in year 7.
Has been 99 overall for 3 years. I have all 4 branches of perks maxed.

I've noticed this, too. Opponents are scoring ridiculous runs. More often than not, they score at least 10 per game. It feels like regardless of what you do, the game decided beforehand which games you're allowed to win. It's not a fun experience.

I do this every time I get on base, and that fast pickoff move, (the one with no warning), still gets me out 99% of the time.
It's ridiculously OPed.

That said, I don't foresee anything changing.

The major issues that seem to be RTTS only (infield shifts not shifting SS, base-running issues, ridiculous CPU base-running choices, the fact that a small ball player will almost always be moved to bat cleanup)never get fixed, even after years.

IT doesn't make sense. Supposedly this is the most played mode in this game, but the most infuriating issues never seem to get touched, and they flat out cost games.

How long has that gone on for?

I had that issue for a series with my center fielder. They moved him to right, and after I got moved back, I wa slisted as cf but played rf for that series.

After that, I was back at center.

It just feels as if something in the simulation algorithm says "oh, it's a user played game? Crank the opposition players to 99"

It just doesn't make sense how a Orioles team, full of 70's and 80's can outscore my Boston team (all 90s and 80s) 37-8 in a 3 game series, especially with my best pitchers on the mound.

I get if that stuff happened occasionally, that happens in sports, but this has been going on the entire season and just isn't fun to experience.

I'll start by saying this: it's entirely possibly that I just suck.

But.

Why is it as soon as I begin playing for a team in RTTS (I'm a SS anomoly) they team immediately begins giving up 3-6 runs in the firtlst three innings, can't hold a lead for anything, and the rest of my lineup is just worthless?

I'm playing for the red Sox. Year 7 of RTTS. 4 pitchers in the high 80s ovr to low 90s. All of them have ERAs in the mid sixes to high 8s.
Only one other player has a BA above.300 (Bogart) were 4 games under 500 woth a lineup that includes Bogarts, myself (99 ovr, 99 pwr, 80+contact), Alonso, Yelich at the heart with Odor (as a 90) batting 9th.

Half of my games, I'm down by 3-6 runs before I even step to the plate once. It seems like another 1/4 of my games, we struggle, fight back to tie it up or take the lead late just for the other team to pop another 5 runs on the board.

Weve only won two series' all season, and the team I previously played for (Seattle) with no changes to their line up or pitching staff (other than me) are 8 game above 500 while for 3 seasons with the team, the closest we ever got was 10 under (in my first year there.)

Something feels way off.

I think it means they sat you for a game.

It's frustrating. My durability was 80+ and I was being sat (as a 99 ovr) once per series, including the game to last game of the year when I was in a race for the triple crown.

It's annoying and stupid.

Yeah, something is off with hit timing lately.
Not sure what, but I've never hit so many foul ticks, pop ups and choppers to short.

I've been ranting about this for a week. It's brutal.
