After studying the market flow I placed a fair wager on buying low in response to an established price. The market reacted opposite expected. An unusually high amount of purchases were made inflating the price of the cards.
The must be either an algorithm to contain the market or people hired to watch for manipulations and counter them.
Am I wrong?

Anyone think that would help??
Most cards are 10 to 20k thats really low actually. It's only the LS series thats out of control. In fact there are only 7 players besides them that are over 60k (Pujols, Delgado, Morgan, Soriano, Longoria, Springer and Feller)
What do you mean settle down the market? The sell prices on most cards are super close to the buy prices. There is little margin, how on earth does it need to settle down?
Could there at least be a [censored] fast forward like in HRD?
They take so long. I'm sure they are great for those who enjoy them, but waiting for fouls and waiting through pitch outs and pick offs is ridiculous!
@sarge1387_psn said in Some of you have no idea how to flip:
in all fairness, SDS bots constantly come in and slash sell orders or bump buy orders. It's their way of controlling non-purchased stubs
I suggested that and was told I was crazy. Only this market does not appear to be natural. Many of the transactions are highly illogical with regard to time required vs reward when compared to stubbs generated by dollars spent.
If I can earn more working for an hour and buy stubbs, why the hell would I spend time flipping for less than I could do something of greater value?
Thus I rarely flip unless the market is good.
Re: Online mode is just not fun.
Been playing since before online was a thing. Still struggle online. No problem offline. Offline I win some I lose some. Online I lose most and when doing well the punk on the other end quits.
When getting better includes no time to play other modes it doesn't really count as advice.
Get better by giving up all other aspects of the game? That sounds fun. What if you're never going to be better? What if the best you're 3ver going to ge is a minor league success. What if you are always platoon? That's pretty [censored] good, and the game isn't meant for just pros. Most players are minor league at best. GTFO with your get better advice.
I'm so disappointed in these "good" players. They need to learn to adjust.
I am not a very good player and I smacked the hell out of Waldron.
So disappointed that they cared in to the whining. If an old gamer with slower reflexes can make the adjustment, than so can the world series players.
