I think it’s linked correctly. I have my Show account linked to my PlayStation account. And then I went into twitch and linked it to my show account… them the rules, right?
I’ve been waiting a few hours for the packs to drop, but I’ll remain patient. I know it’s a different game and studio, but it usually took 24 hours for my Madden drops to hit.

Just curious on your experience… How long do you have to wait for twitch drops to show up on your account?

I don’t think I’ve seen SDS release anything about this in the past, but I figured it was worth asking the congregation…

Is there list of the attributes that get boosted from quirks from cards or boosts in Showdown? Been curious what “significant exit velocity boost” means in terms of numbers.

It comes and goes. Not sure what does it, but 1 out of 20 games I get a blank canvass. Seems to be the first game of a day for me when it happens.

Ya, RTTS has suffered for a long, long time and has gotten worse every year. And I’ve never even tried to touch franchise cause it is so bare…

But I remember just a few years ago when new cards were extremely rare or had to be purchased in Headliner packs. You gotta admit the amount of content dropped (and free) so far is unheard of in sports games though.

They base attributes on past years as well. I think he’s going to have to put up consistently insane numbers to overcome his .165 and .210 BA from the last two years.

But he is a former MVP and ROY, so maybe they’ll be more forgiving.

This game has flaws in it, as any game does. Lately I’ve been having cards disappear (Topps Kwan) or become unplayable (Flashback Gregory Soto). Occasionally, I’ve seen foul balls 30 rows deep get warped back into play to be caught.

But if you think about it, and compare it to other collection style games… SDS is doing it right! The grind produces usable cards and a lot of them. We just got 10 free in the Charisma series.

Meanwhile in MUT, you have to do 30 challenges to unlock a single card that isn’t even top tier. Or you can buy a $20 pack and still not get a worthwhile card.

I’m not sure if devs ever look at these forums, but if one does… The Show 23 is easily the best sports video game content-wise. I’m an old dude who hasn’t ever had this much fun with SDS.

I saw on the schedule that the “hunt for the Golden Egg” is this Friday. Anyone know what this is about?

Biggest W SDS has added to The Show. A free 10 pack just for logging into the console over the weekend? I didn’t pull a Diamond, but still an awesome move.

Is there a card that you didn’t expect to slay? Or plays above what it should for you?

I had no expectation to love it, but the Harry Ford WBC card is my favorite so far. A speedy catcher who has pop.

This is easily the most polished start for the game. Still a few bugs to work out, but I think there was a 5 year span of servers not working the first week.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a difference between zone and directional hitting. In years past, I would switch between the two with conquest maps. I started this year with directional (I know, but I have kids and it’s easier for when I’m laying around with them), but there is no pop at all with directional. Meat ball? Lazy fly ball. Guess the pitch? Hard ground out. I think I only hit two homeruns in 10 conquest games.

What I’m getting at… Directional appears to be nerfed hard with this year’s version. Stick with zone hitting, even if you’re a casual.

Oh dang. I was hoping there’d be more this year. I also think it’s cool that they have a 5 year outline planned out.

Buying or not buying a game based on a fan animation might be one of the more ridiculous things I’ve heard.

PS. The game is fun. Worth the buy.

If you haven’t checked out the Negro Leagues game mode, you’re missing out. It’s more than the static “Moments” that were added a few years ago. The story telling by Bob Kendrick is a baseball lovers dream. It’s low key, the best addition to this year’s game. I hope they expand on it and tell more stories of those who built the game.

I’m not a complainer, but I wish they’d update the name database for RTTS . My name is Xander, same as Bogaerts. It’s a name they say in DD, but I can’t select it for my RTTS. Every year I think it’ll be added. Every year I have to use a different name.

Anyone else unable to select custom uniforms for their DD team? I spent forever getting it ready and it won’t load.

Does quitting a game void out PXP or Monthly Award goals? I’m trying to finish up the August POTM and went to take a short cut. Noticed the XP wasn’t going up.
