This is one of the dumbest things that I’ve ever read on these forums. I get it you’re a Mets fan... Yankees get all the headlines... Yankees win... never hear anything about my Mets etc etc. Be realistic, you literally pointed out a Mount Rushmore of not just the best players in Yankees history but in the history of the game. I may be a Yankee fan but I’m realistic, I’m not a homer by any stretch. If you want to complain about the Giambis or Tinos etc.. ok I get your point Mets fan, but who do you have that holds a candle to that trio? Nobody. C’mon man cry somewhere else. There are only a select few players in the history of the game that are up there with the three names you just listed. All TIME GREATS like Mays Aaron Foxx etc.

if you want less Yankees I get it. Like I said it wouldn’t even bother me. I’m a Yankee fan who also loves the history of baseball. So sure I’d love to see more teams’ players represented. I would think you’d want fewer Braves before you mention the Yankees. But unfortunately you’re a “typical Mets fan” more worried about your crosstown rival instead of the rivals in your own division! Lol it’s laughable, Mets fans have had issues with the Yankees forever, while of the majority of Yankees fans could care less about the Mets except for when they play each other.
And hey you want to be happy for something? Nido got a Topps now card earlier this year for hitting two home runs one a Grand Slam. Higashioka hit 3 bombs in one game and didn’t get a card. But you don’t see yankee fans crying about the Mets. Lol keep crying over the best to play the game of baseball being included in this game simply because they are Yankees... great look typical Mets fan... great look...

Still no Twitch drops? Just wondering how many people still haven’t received any packs at all. I see a lot of people saying that they started to get some yesterday. I’ve never had an issue before getting twitch drops but with this I haven’t gotten a single pack yet. Twitch says it’s on SDS. I haven’t heard any response at all from them. Just wondering how many others haven’t received anything.

Same problem here. Drops have always worked in the past. Nothing going into my inventory tonight. Would love to hear something about this….

Anyone who plans on selling them in a week once the 4 day freebie giveaway is over. Not everyone will log on over the next 4 days to claim it for free. Some of those people will want to buy it. Soooo some people are buying them to resell... just like most every other card in this game.

How? If you hit the ball hard (perfect) common fielders shouldn’t routinely turn a double play

——-also kind of silly to say. Look I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen too often in the game. But just because you hit a “perfect perfect” ground ball does not mean you can’t hit it directly at someone. Have you ever watched baseball? It happens a lot.
As far as it should not create a double play goes, typically perfect perfect hits are crushed, so if it’s fielded cleanly with a runner on base.. you get a double play.
Again I’m not advocating for SDS here because it does seem to happen too often but I see people exaggerate their “perfect perfect” outs all of the time. It does happen in baseball...

People are buying him for the same reason they buy everything else to make profit.... to sell at a later date. It’s only free for 4 days. Not everyone will log in to the game in that time.

Same thing here, I watched streamers for about 4 hours and never received a single pack since around the end of SDS live streams. I didn’t get anything for watching streamers play the game at all! Hope this gets fixed soon!

This... who said that you should know everyone who ever played for your team?-nobody. But to not know the greatest players (hall of famers) that played for your team. That is kind of sad. It would be like 30 years from now someone asking you “who the heck is Frank Thomas, I never heard of the guy” I think you’d cringe just a bit hearing that.
You don’t have to be a Gramps to know who the best to ever play the game are. Anyone who is a fan of the history of Baseball knows who Larry Doby was.

I had you rolling? You talk about the Big Hurt’s legacy for the White Sox while dismissing Larry Doby’s MUCH larger legacy for the entire sport. Again this isn’t a utility player we are talking about, this isn’t even Ron LeFlore, Greg Walker, Bobby Thigpen, or even Harold Baines for that matter.
Larry Doby is one of the greatest players of all time, AND he broke the American League color barrier. I’d say that’s one hell of a legacy.

Also If your father was in Viet Nam I’d say that you are old enough to know better when it comes to both Larry Doby and calling someone else gramps. Pot meet kettle.

The Yankees didn’t buy all the best players throughout history lol. That didn’t start until Steinbrenner bought the team. As far as them purchasing Babe Ruth, they actually saved the Red Sox who were in financial ruin, going bankrupt. They sold off players to save their team. The Yankees kept them afloat. Most of the Yankees World Series wins came well before free agency was even a thing. Back in those days once a player was on a team they STAYED on that team unless traded. Buying great players doesn’t always mean winning as the Yankees have done a lot of that also.
