Pitching is literally impossible now. It is so extremely easy to hit in this game and it’s literally ruined. I haven’t played a game where both teams had less than double digits. Now, you get rewarded for swinging at bad pitches and having okay pci placement. It takes skill to have perfect swings, but they are useless when they get rewarded just as much as anything else.

I appreciate the effort put in by SDS to fix things, but a failed attempt is still an attempt. This just didn’t work well. The issue wasn’t the pci size or the timing window. I still have no clue what differentiates perfect and good/good or good/okay results. At this point it’s just random.

Obviously if you miss the meter or analog then it should possibly hang, but not on good feedback

Why is this still an issue? In MLB 19, I never had this problem. You claimed to have fixed it in a patch, yet it got worse! I’m trying to grind march to october but I can’t even make routine catches in the outfield because none of my outfielders, including Mike Trout, have a brain

First of all, the game really isn’t bad. I haven’t had any horrible experiences with fielding since the last patch. Yeah, hitting may need some tweaking, but overall it’s not bad. Sure, the pitching is hard to control but how would it feel if every single player you faced could dot sinkers on the corner every pitch? Hanging pitches happens, get over it.

The only thing I really don’t like is the loss of double points on MTO, which kills any motivation to play the mode. For me, the 6 hours minimum for around 50 team affinity points is just not enjoyable. It really doesn’t compete with showdown.

I already know that a lot of people will complain about homerun derby xp getting reduced. I don’t even know anyone that was willing to sit on homerun derby for 5+ hours a day just for xp. Although it takes no skill, I would like to congratulate those who have sat through some mind numbing hr derby sessions.

They also reduced the xp in retro mode, who knows by how much yet, because you could simply afk it as the computer walks you and get 15 levels overnight. This was definitely being exploited as some of the rosters in the vault had over 1000 downloads. I’m happy this is getting fixed.

Overall, I’m actually excited to see how many people will sit here and complain about how it’s gonna be iMpoSsIbLe tO gEt xP. The xp reward path wasn’t made to be completed in 2 months. If you want xp, play the game regularly or play showdown like the rest of us. If retro mode didn’t get patched, it would’ve been so interesting to see what teams would look like in the future. Eric Thames, J-Ram and prestige Sandberg everywhere!

This patch is good! Although I would have liked something about non sellable players, I don’t get why everyone is crying. I’ve been hitting just as good if not better after the patch... As someone who’s played NBA2k for years, we are very lucky to have SDS listening to the community! You complained about giving up too many hits and pitching, and when they fix it you complain about hitting being too hard? Come on guys.

Am I the only World Series player that didn’t know that R2 caused this lol. I always just used it like all the time to look at what pitches were thrown and the pitch count.

I did showdown before the patch but I also like to do march to october sometimes because it can be a break from online. Just playing on veteran can rack you up 40+ TA points if you win the world series, which is pretty easy. It does take a while, but it’s like conquest where I can do something or watch videos in the background while I play

Yeah I fell into the sandberg trend but he hasn’t been all that good for me. Plays stellar defense and has good speed, but his stance is gonna take some getting used to. It’s like last year, I picked Joe Morgan and that card was so underrated. His stance may have been ugly but it got the job done!

Athletics and Padres were probably most worth it for me. Doolittle and Finley are solid as well as Tatis and Olson.

I’m not whining whatsoever lol. I will use Griffey when his 99 is available. But i’m stating that his 95 wouldn’t make my squad.

Thoughts? Dustin May could be fun to use. A lot of people like Griffey but i don’t know if i’m feeling this card.
