You used to be able to have the sock option you wanted regardless of equipped gear in MLB the Show 21. Not sure about last year. The only issue with 21 was you had to remember to readjust it in the appearance section if you entered the loadout section. It might intentional due to how they changed the player screens.

This is post 3 about attributes, second about pitching attributes specifically I've seen on this forum, and it's still an ongoing issue. I think it's safe to say the DEVs don't care. The original pitch post has mentioned a 5th patch just released without any mention of a fix for this. I'll probably go back to 21 for awhile.

You can do it ahead of the combine by changing the interface for how you throw the ball to the base. Leaving it as moving the right thumbstick to the time circle is what gives the 5 or 6 random button combination for outfielders. It has nothing to do with Showtime Moments. It's a new mechanic for throws that are longer than the throw from home plate to second base.

It's an issue for everyone. Yours is not the first post about this problem.

Hitting is harder in general this year. This the first year where there is no pattern to where the pitches will go on Beginner or Amateur.

Never had this issue. The only issue I've noticed is you can no longer choose a sock option that hides the Stance Socks.

Apparently there's a 110 max pitch count for an individual starting pitcher in a game preference by teams in the MLB.

I've gotten my 4SFB Velo to 39, but it won't go past that.

I'm playing a two-way player and after my best pitching outing (15 K 0 Hits 0 BB 0 ER) I still am only getting a B for my grade. How the hell does this make any sense?!?

I've gotten the Slugger set. I'll have to double check what they are when I get home.

So for slugging trio of cards (Power and Fielding/Contact/Speed) the primary attributes increase by 45.

The showboat raises secondary attributes by 40 and tertiary attributes are boosted anywhere from 5 to 40.

The Duke raises secondary by 35 and tertiary by a range of 20 to 40.

The Anomaly raises secondary by 39 and tertiary by a range of 20 to 40.

Durability is the only one of the tertiary attributes that gets the 40 boost on all 3.

The progression is broken for pitchers in general, not just 2 way players.

Just delete the RTTS save file and start a new career. Since your player is no longer accessible outside of RTTS, it's existence is directly tied to the RTTS save file.

For me it's just I gotta move the left thumbstick to the circle and press the random assigned button (on Xbox it's A,B,X,Y). Which is fairly simple and you can always do it before time runs out.

Yeah. At the end of the game I've gotten a lot of "player had a good outing going 1 for 5" when I only had 3 or 4 at bats or total plate appearances.
