Yes, you get the rewards as soon as you reach the milestone (All-Star break and then end of regular season and then each playoff round). You get those TA points right away, so quitting is not an issue.
I have been wondering, if anyone can please answer, does the team you select and the section they are a part of (favorites, underdogs, etc.) change either A) the situations you get put into. And B) how many TA points you get? So, say I play as a favorite for a while and do well (let's say I "win" 75 percent of the situations they put me in) does that change the amount of TA points I get if I was doing the same performance-wise (not difficulty-wise. I know that changes it) as an underdog or one of the other sections of teams?
Those are good questions. I will go based on feeling, because I can’t say for sure. But, I would say if you win 75 percent of your encounters you will get max affinity, because that is based on wins above expected. But, your end record won’t be the same. If you play as the dodgers you will probably have the highest record. If you play as the Marlins, you will make the playoffs and maybe win the division. I went 22-9 with the pirates and got the max affinity and won the division, but didn’t have the best record. I went 19-8 with the angels and had the best record in baseball. Obviously, it also depends on your encounters. If you blow a lead, it’s way worse than losing a game that you were losing when you started.
