Agreed. DQ is very easy if you are decent at the game. Great way to make stubs and warm up for ranked and WL.

Im not sure lots of people know this about DQ....but here are a couple tips if you are struggling.

1. You don't have to play the first stadium as soon as you are on it. If you hit the back button it will take you to the board and you can continue past it. This allows you to play all the showdown moments and increase your chance on lower difficulty levels when you come back to it.

2. If you already have Kenley and just need Santana, you can use step 1 and jump over the first two stadiums and only play the 3rd and quit after you win and receive Santana.

3. Losing to the zone sweeper doesn't end your quest, you'll just lose 50% of your DQ currency and receive a penalty card. On the next showdown you play, that red card will be gone.

4. Be sure to use guys with high vision. This helps with your swing timing on higher difficulties.

The easy route to complete extreme is Showdown+DQ+Conquest. This gives you 90 points. Then you can finish with either 2 pxp, moments or events. Im at 70 points with half the conquest games remaining.

Showdown is slightly tough but with the continue option if you fail a mini boss makes it easier. DQ and Conquest are actually easy, just a grind. Ill have Elly either today or tomorrow.

Conquest is very easy. Just follow the goals. The first game of the first set is All-star, next 3 games are hall of fame, 5th game is legend. After that I stole fans on hall of fame and then started on goal 2. Games have been on all-star. I think you only have to play 2 legend games this whole conquest. It's a grind, but actually much easier than it appears on the surface.

Plus all teams only have live series cards, no special cards at all even if those players have one. (Example- elly is the 85 live series card)

I got live series JRam. Not bad since he was still going for 90k

Trout start and have griffey off the bench to use his pinch hitter quirk when you need to swap them out.

I dont understand your argument.... 100ish contact vs the 115 & 125 he has is a much bigger deal than 90 vs 99 for defense. The defense will play the same but the higher contact will allow him to be used online on higher difficulties.

Never said defense doesn't matter, it definitely does. But a 90 plays the same as a 99 so the fact we got a great hitting ozzie with 90 defence is great. I dont understand why you'd want a 99 defence with weak power stats.

This ozzie card is the best ozzie card we have gotten. You do realize that 90 defence plays the same as 99 right? Lol, and he can get to 90 speed. I'd much rather have 90 fielding and 90 speed with amazing hitting instead of bad hitting and 99 defence/speed.

@samguenther1987_PSN Im meaning the large legends and flashbacks collection. I know the homerun derby one happens next week.

Do we think this is the final collection or will there be one more with finest drop?

I rolled the dice, got chipper on my 3rd bundle so got him for 225k.... I'm cool with paying that much for him!

I am aware of the better cards in the new one. But the older ones seem more difficult as well. Maybe I'm just off my hitting game this week...

I've been playing diamond quest all year, did they recently change the difficulty for the game mode? I usually play on legend but I am finding it harder than usual.....maybe I'm just in a slump but it feels like they made the mode much harder.

People who fell for the 75k pack must be playing mlb the show for the first year. It was obvious it was a stub grab and the card would be in a choice pack through conquest and the program. Very glad sds put these packs as repeatable through conquest, great move!

I almost have Adley, after that I need to spend 120k on 1 awards card and 1 standout card. But I'm willing to wait for the prices to come down or they add a card for those categories. I have plenty of stubs but I'm willing to wait for good prices so I'm not burning stubs.

Weird, i was playing this a lot today with no issues. I did 6 run throughs on legend and got both rewards 5 of the 6 times (the one time was 74%). Made 300k and kept one of each for adley collection.

Seeing as this content was a pre-order content, no they don't normally add more cards to this set. You'll need to play mini seasons to get wagner.
