I have my hit settings set to Classic guess pitch. At least a couple of times a game, I'm guessing the right pitch. Exactly the pitch and the zone and the game should be giving me a heads up that I guessed right. It isn't, it's an issue this year. I've been playing this game for years and it's always worked properly, not this year.
Also I'll move my PCI during my at bat and when the hitting feedback comes in, it shows the PCI is not where I placed it.
This year more than ever I'm extremely frustrated with the hitting interface. Please fix these issues!!!!

The hitting reward is nonexistent, I don't know what it takes. I'm patient and wait for the perfect pitch, the feedback says good timing and squared up but consistently no reward! I'm getting sick of this game. Not too mention the lack of consistency between CPU fielding and extreme slowness of my fielders. If a CPU runner is heading for the plate my fielders take an extremely long time to transfer the ball and throw. And yes I'm preloading. Some serious inequities! BULL****

I agree on the timing issue with regards to hitting I'm not getting rewarded at all. Especially when the CPU offensive is pulling good outside fastballs for homers. I've already gone back a level on hitting because I'm so frustrated with the results of my swings

So far I'm really unhappy with the hitting, I'm playing at the same level as last years version, Hall of Fame, so as to make it challenging. I keep make good swings with the ball in the inner target. The feedback is saying the time is good. But I repeatedly am getting only okay contact. There is no reward for being patient, waiting for a ball in the zone and squaring it up. I'm so frustrated
