I have frank thomas and I was going to grind the babe Ruth to sell him but ima Yuge white Sox fan and frank is hitting .400 for me. Also bout to grind for that ty Cobb. Really looking for a good 3B or 2B any suggestions. Also are we going to get Bert blyven the SP. last year he was my favorite any thoughts on that. Thanks

Yeah I mean I just want consistency. A lot of times I’m getting ball on bat in good locations and it seems I’m not being rewarded. My biggest beef is inside pitches. I feel I hit a lot of inside pitches that never hit any gaps
I’m all with the different hitting types and I have been playing with PCI for last couple years but sometimes I got to wonder why doesn’t a p/p or g/g always result in a hit. Every game I ever played was based on timing and if u perfected timing u was pretty [censored] good at the game . IE nba2k. What I’m saying is random outcomes are great but when my pitcher pitches a good input I should get the location I wanted. If I square up a ball I should at least get a hit. I would even take about if the positional player made a great play and he has good rating. Long story short I think the Show is a great franchise but they need to open the game up to being more input related that random outputs. Consistent contact with hitters should break thru whatever pitcher on the mound and that’s how it usually works.
When I’m i. A slump definitely taking a break works. Also make sure to work the counts and try to get the pitches u like. Every time I take a break I come

Do y’all feel sometimes the input output seems just be ridiculous. Some games my just earliest are bombs and others when they all go foul.

Maybe you should practice reading and hitting the sinker. The outcome will come out better for you.
I recognize that the pitch is hittable if you sit on it, but don't you think it sucks that you have to concentrate everything to be able to hit a pitch that is unrealistic to have so much break high in the strike zone?
It’s a video game and every video game has its “glitch” yet the high sinker and inside high fastball are hard to to hit but hittable. The key to hitting the sinker and the inside fastball is keeping the PCI INSIDE the ball and guess it. Do you realize baseball players work counts to read pitches. Eventually if you read them right you can jolt that walk off salami which I have the greatest joy experiencing. By the 7-9 inning your should a good read on that pitch if u worked the counts.
With all the being said it’s a SOB but ain’t like u can’t throw it as well. And once you get 2-3 good hits they will stop throwing to that location. But I’m general high inside fastball shouldn’t be swung at in leveraged counts. BOL tho
Everytime a new inning comes out I have to retrain all my hitting mechanics because what works online doesn’t work when ur playing computer on rookie or pro. I hate after I get in a groove online in AS or better I gotta go do moments where my timing is all screwed. Can we just get a consensus pitching input and just make the computer outcomes on different levels better. IE all generally same pitch speed but maybe not as much of a mix , more balls and wild pitches,
Input from one game seems to not work input another game. I can consistently hit balls perfect but get outs and my opponent can hit balls out the strike zone for bloopers and doubles in gaps or home rubs. The worse is trying to stay inside inside pitches just for you to line up to everyone on that side but ur opponent knocks over walls
Even if I wanted to buy more packs. It doesn’t matter at this point I can keep grinding for months to complete LS collection or I can just buy the stubs on discount. I shouldn’t have to wait till near end game for great cards I can get for value prices
Why can’t we just even sell our no sell diamonds for the 5k. It would benefit a lot of grinders. I can’t afford to just blow money on players but I can spend time grinding players and then selling that card for the 5k if I choose. What do you guys think?

I can afford to blow stubs because I can just buy more but I just feel for kids that grind & grind only to have that happen to them. It’s not something they should have to deal with yet. The world will have its way with them soon enough.
I literally blew that 70k after selling my ellsbury and LS Chapman. Once I saw the possible 170k on return I was like hell I need more stubs and I don’t just go out and buy them. My whole team literally is a bunch of NO sell grinders. I hate all the good cards always require extreme grinding or boat load of stubs. I can’t even afford to buy all the LS and I’ve pretty much have high diamonds left. At this point In game I play division and championship and WS plays and without great cards I just can’t get over that hump. I’m competitive but the edges come out over 9 innings with the poor SP Pool and also The SP as RP bull. Literally played a guy WS smoked his SP , he bought in two 97+ SPs right after. I couldn’t keep him from scoring with current roster of low 90s upper 80s pitchers.
The only way I hit Chapman is to sit fastball up nothing down because his sinkers tilt is serious and so is that slider but adding the change up makes this freaking tough. His control is bad tho so ain’t much painting the edges. Easy way to beat this guy is let it come to you and he will definitely walk someone
I’m absolutely raking with FRANCISCO LINDOR. lead off hitter batting 426 1.1 OPS. Absolutely mashes fastballs and sliders

I’m completely uninspired to keep grinding and play RS atm until they come out with better players in the innings programs and/or release wayyy more options for pitchers. As someone who is good at this game I’m up near all star or watever and now I’m dealing with guys who in silver and gold and it’s annoying because I’m at bronze 75. I have no motivation to keep playing RS which is my favorite because the lack of options at my level and the lack of players I can acquire without grinding. U can’t even buy good hitters right now and all those affinity players just a bunch of long grinds that don’t pay off much. No matter what this game takes skill AND good players, but when u let people who just buy they way thru the game and then benifit from free high cards that can’t be purchased you making those who don’t spend money frustrated because at this point I gotta hope whoever I play don’t use SPs for relievers and / also don’t play with a pitcher I seen a thousand times

That isn't a glitch. It's an intentionally added feature that they marketed prior to the game's release.
Why even buy the few relievers they have when u can just load up on SP and wait you get three free by time ur gold. U can literally use all three of them and go thru a whole game . Basically it cost u like 50k to get a good pitching team while it cost a [censored] load more to get viable hitters

I don’t understand how they don’t even have a diamond RP and all the diamond CPs are gained thru BR or RS except 1. I rather them give out free good bullpen arms than to make a game where they give u chances to earn all these unbelievable hitters thru grinding affinity but u can get any good pitchers unless u play the game a lot. I literally faced three guys in a row with kluber then they all bring in some HIGH diamond starter and rotate them every 2 innings

I agree, being able to use SP as relievers is lame
How about making those 99 pitches just 4 pitch pitchers than. At least u can adjust better. But yet SDS was make 90+ cards that have 4 pitches in a game where pitching even in good spots can hurt you
