Just have to say, I think that Al Leiter no-no card is beautiful. The card art looks great in my opinion. That’s all haha

So what is this I’m hearing about uninstalling the game and reinstalling to get the correct amount of XP? Does it actually work? I won’t lose any progress or stubs or anything by doing this?

For me, personally, it’s never too late. I absolutely love collecting cards in these modes. It’s a lot of fun to me. I’m an average player at best, but I just love completing things and getting rewards. I don’t spend money on the game either, so I still need 4 of the gatekeepers, but I’m oh so close!

Only if you ask nicely. They might just do it every single time you open the mode

I had made a modest investment in Zack Wheeler when he was an 80 OVR. Only bought 40 of him at quicksell. Wish I would’ve had more stubs at the time, but I’m not mad at a 160k profit. It’s enough profit to let me buy Trout and finish live series

@jmcdonald1817 from what I’ve noticed, RP/CP can be very hard to predict for upgrades. I imagine it’s because of the irregular usage you see for them, especially the ones used in high leverage situations like saves and holds. Sample sizes tend to be smaller for them compared to starters and positions players. It seems like they want to see an extended period of excellent play rather than a couple weeks. I feel like Kimbrel has pitched as a diamond since the first week and just went today (Granted, I also don’t know what he started out as). Just a thought ‍️

I’ve been grinding since opening night, pretty much nonstop. I’ve made it to the 3rd no sell fotf pack. I have over 300,000 stubs from a lucky diamond equipment pull that I sold and a ton of low level flips. Finished all the conquests once. Finished the moments, babe, and showdown. Working on cheap live series collections now. NMS is still definitely viable, as it’s the only way I play, but luck and grinding sure are required haha. I actually haven’t hated building the team from literally the ground up. My conquest team was absolute TRASH. The CPU was giving me trouble cause I couldn’t pitch. I’ve acquired some diamonds now so it should improve haha

The market has certainly been a bit tougher than years past, primarily because the servers are working surprisingly well and web access was immediate so on friday i suspect a ton of people were on the market on their work computers flipping like crazy whereas normally it takes at least until the weekend for margins to significantly shrink.

I still had no problem making my stubs though. I actually did better the first day than i normally do. that said, it's already pretty tough out there. Hopefully it gets easier as all the casuals get their access that probably don't flip as much and orders start flying.

Yes I’ve noticed the margins aren’t quite as large as years past, but I agree, I haven’t had trouble making my stubs so far. Started with the 25k and have a nice bankroll going into official release tonight. Fingers crossed the servers cooperate for me as well as they did all weekend (won’t hold my breath haha). I get off at 730p so it’s perfect as I can get on with the general population at 9p (west coaster). Hoping for a ton of people just hitting that sell now and buy now haha

I cannot equip custom uniforms. I made an away uniform, couldn’t equip it. Then made a home uniform and it changed my away uniform to my home uniform. I’m on Xbox series X

@BrandonMLBKing_XBL yes, ever since the update I had a ton of freezing and stuttering while doing some of the new moments. Thought it was my Xbox. It even shut down on its own a couple times. I gave it up for a couple hours and then tried another game and everything was smooth as usual. Not sure what this update did

@Invinitee_XBL hasn’t been fixed for me. I tried to uninstall/reinstall and now I don’t even have a game haha. It won’t download past 2.84GB. At first it made it to 17.81GB, then stopped downloading. Tried again, won’t go past 2.84GB. Guess I won’t be finishing the 3rd inning program haha

Update: I was able to get it downloaded using the Xbox app and downloading remotely. I tested the game and it seems to be running like it did before the update, so we’ll see

@Duke0021520_XBL I'm an Indians fan, so I did the AL central TA first. I wanted the franmil card cause I’m a homer haha. The Salvy Perez and Tim Anderson are nice as well. I transitioned to working the AL East next because I hit decently with the Bichette and Bogaerts. Ultimately, every game I play has some sort of progress toward a TA and whatever other content is active at that time.

@BLMwarrior3601_XBL I had been dealing with this issue until last night. I uninstalled and reinstalled via the Xbox app. I tried through the console first, but it wouldn’t finish the install. Seemed to work with the app. I checked it this morning and it seemed to playing as normal

Showdown is what it is, patience will help for sure. My favorite part of showdown is the platinum, diamond, super, mega, gold glove CPU defense

Congrats! Such a good feeling to do it NMS! I’m 4 cards away from finishing (Trout, Cole, Acuna, and deGrom). Hoping my flash sale investments from yesterday pay off

One of my favorite aspects of DD is looking at some of the phenomenal card art. I’m an average player at best, but man do I love the collecting aspect of this mode. Issues aside, it’s by far the best collection based mode in sports games. I’m always excited to see the new cards that come out and I can grind offline for hours just to get them

Do we finally think Lynn will go diamond this next update? .....His last start was great. If he has another one, I don’t see how he doesn’t get the upgrade.
