This just happened to me 16 games into the TA mini season. First the Lords error, now this. Spent so much time playing 16 games just to get these vouchers, and that's just wasted now?? How can SDS mess a mode up this badly and not compensate for all this wasted time?

Nope. Just started and got the invalid roster error on the Lords in Game 3.

I know I’m being selfish, but this is a huge screw up with zero explanation or answers from GameStop or SDS. I was hoping the free download/upgrade would show up today on official launch day, but nope.

I have the disc in. I checked the store. I pressed options to check game version. I only have an option to download the tech test, not the full game.

If anyone in the same boat hears anything, could you drop a note below? I’ve been playing this game since 08, one of my favorite things in the world. I was really looking forward to next gen performance and the stadium creator.

My disc is in, I redeemed the code, options and game version only show an option for the tech test on PS5, and there is no free PS5 version to download in the PS Store. Thanks for any help you can provide, this was a huge bummer and what should have been an exciting Opening Day.

Did your code properly redeem all the content? Check your purchase history, should show Jackie Robinson edition. I also tried to download tech test again, as my games did not show mlb 21. But after I put disc in, it then downloaded ps5 version. If I take disc out, I see the purchase price for ps5 version, but with disc in I get Launch option.

My disc is in, and all I see is an option for the PS5 tech test. No option for full PS5 game, and no free version in the PS Store.

Can we fix this please? I’m nowhere close to the only one that can’t play the game on next gen like we paid for.

If you bought the version with the PS5 entitlement...When you hit options there's an option for the PS5 full download (after installing the PS4 version from the disc). Select that and it will upgrade to the PS5 version. Start the game, select the style and your skill level. You'll have the option to go through tutorials (or not) while the rest of the game downloads.

Be sure to click on your profile and accept the terms of fair play and then all of your preorder goodies will show up.

I’m in the same boat as many here and so frustrated Opening Day was kinda ruined by searching for an answer for so long.

I entered the code, my PS4 disc is in my PS5, and there is NO option to download the PS5 version (only the PS5 beta test), and there is no free PS5 download in the PS Store. Support emails with SDS just keep saying make sure my disc is in, like I haven’t tried that. This needs to be a priority fix, so many people paid extra for the collector’s edition so we can play the next gen version.

Anyone know where we can do for support?

The code was on the sheet inside the box. That is for all the special Jackie Robinson add-ons. I did that first, just by happenstance. I couldn’t figure it out. Went into the store and found the game and it showed a free download

I plugged that code in, too. Got all my bonuses and packs, but the PS5 version in the PS Store is not free. It costs $70. Where in the store did you go for the free download?

I had the Jackie Robinson deluxe edition delivered today and there is no PS5 download code anywhere. There’s nothing to be found in the game or PS Store. Why did they make this so difficult?

Anyone have any idea how to get the PS5 upgrade?

I can’t play events, BR or RS. During the opponent search, it has a rating range of 0 to 0 for a few seconds then says “A response was not received within a reasonable amount of time.”

Moments work OK. Market works fine. Streaming Spotify. What gives? Anyone else?
