Hmmm--I had the opposite. I got called up to Cincinnati in June and the Reds were in last almost 20 games under .500 and 15 games out of the wild card. Season ended with us with 84 wins and a wild card spot....I'm currently in Game 6 of the NLCS vs the Dodgers.

My suggestion would be to fix the promotion nonsense in RTS---I have my player in AA with a batting average of .487, over 100 RBI, 42 HR, a 2-way player with a 15-0 record, an ERA of 0.46, 217 SO, multiple complete games and 1 perfect game and have been to top rated pitcher (78) in the organization and top 5 overall....and no promotion to just AAA until after the All-Star game. That just isn't anywhere near realistic. Being stuck in AA with those kind of stats is just crazy. If that were a player in real life, he would have been in MLB WELL before freaking July.

I do miss this part of franchise...EA Sports did it well. Franchise is nice, but when they took all the marketing/management out of it, the play got a bit boring. No longer can you set ticket prices, merchandise, concessions, advertising, TV/Radio contracts...you know, the things you operate as a FRANCHISE? It's been this way for quite awhile and I fear they don't care enough about it to ever bring the excitement back....it's all about Diamond Dynasty $$$ <sigh>

I always turn off the DH rule and the extra innings runner because they both BLOW! That could very well be why those lineups are in. I can ignore the with DH lineups as it's off, just like you can ignore the no DH lineups in your game.
Why does this game have a habit of tanking any team you touch?
