This is only an issue on 22. I logged in 21 daily to see if it is an issue and it is not an issue on 21. Additionally, no other game on my xbox has the black flashes either.

This is very upsetting. I just requested a refund for the game as this is a legit health warning as it could induce seizures. Very sad that no one from the developer team either on this forum or on twitter are acknowledging this, especially with the large amount of evidence from the player base.

Has anyone been able to fix this issue when a pitch is selected? It is much more prominent when I am the pitcher. However, I see it when I am the hitter. I am starting to get some pretty serious headaches after a few batters when pitching. If you have been able to fix please let me know how.
