Hear me out on this, I know there are 2 threads that got locked. Everyone is screaming bans and rightfully so, but we as a community need to stop and think who are the real culprits in all of this.

Is it Joe Shmoe who came across a YouTuber encouraging the violation of the TOS. Perhaps. Or is it the guy or guys or gals who promted said exploit on their channels which definitely is an explicit violation of TOS. Yet we can lock down theeds (rightfully so) on people encouraging violating TOS but yet you have videos of streamers doing it themselves and seemingly doing nothing with your all's hands in you pockets is kinda hypocritical. Those streamers should be banned and a public statement saying bans went into effect on them. That will start building trust in the community.

Who cares about the 15 yo in Puerto Rico who stumbled across this and used it. I am starting to agree that SDS can't really do anything about people using the exploit because it's their fault to begin with. They CAN do something about the streamers who encouraged using the exploit though.

SDS you all need to start building back trust with the community that got you where are today, that starts with banning the streamers who violated the TOS by encouraging this exploit. I don't want free stuff although it's nice and I will take everything I can get from you guys,.legally. I would love the hypocritical nonsense to stop.

And there it goes..... When choose a card to purchase on the marketplace I get the spinning wheel of fetching data death.... again

How do you know they aren't, or haven't, doing anything about the WBC MS Glitch?

Just because they haven't mentioned it; doesnt mean they aren't, or haven't, doing anything about it.

They'll never come out and publicly say their intentions.

SDS won't but I'd expect the crybabies who thought they were either entitled to or thought they did nothing wrong to post their grievances.

I agree with what @dolenz_psn said earlier, whatever they do will either be too much or not enough. There is nothing they can do to make the whole community happy after this.

After thinking about this conundrum for a bit, I would be happy if they wiped clean everyone's account who partook in the glitch as if it was a brand spanking new game that they just bought and had a flash sale that saw only the gatekeepers for LS collection be discounted by 50% for a period of time. I think this could be a good compromise. You punish the offenders, the gatekeepers aren't free but cheap enough so majority of players can nab but they the have short period of time to do it which will keep the outcry of the players who paid for them to a minimum.

I get both sides. I'm in the camp that there are more serious issues at play with this game than whether we have or have not particular face scans of players. Quite honestly if the game continues on it's current trajectory noone will have to worry about face scans anymore.... there won't be a game.

After update 10 the app ran like [censored].... sigh .....here we go again.

I remember a couple years back don't remember the exact details where ATM's at a certain bank glitched out and was giving people more money then they were supposed to get and it got quickly exploited. The money had to be returned one way or another whether directly taken out of their accounts or by other means. The point I want to make is that was considered stealing no matter if it was the banks fault or not. Sure, there is no real world value but only to SDS and players who spent real world money on stubs. Now if SDS wanted to they could go and wipe clean the exploiters stubs and purchases they made and any collections they completed. I'm sure they know who figured out how to exploit the glitch and the streamers who advertised this. Those are ones that needs bans on. I'm talking permanent bans never to play this game again type bans. The monkey see monkey do guys wipe there accounts clean ban them for a month and start building back the trust of the community. Unfortunately what it cost the community, I would say somehow someway SDS probably turned profit on this whole mess. Nothing will be done, sadly.

I see your point. I think this exploration has exacerbated the inflation in the marketplace and possibly not really sure of this screwed up the pack odds. I think getting the inflation under control and giving people a fighting chance at completing the LS collection, not making it easy it shouldn't be easy but a fighting chance that will begin to rebuild trust. I think to achieve that they will have to be proactive against cheating and exploiters they can't be reactionary anymore. They can't react fast enough.

You are correct they didn't create the problem but they didn't rectify the problem which is the cheating , scripts, software, which in turn the cheats grew more brazen with using bots in the marketplace and know exploited a glitch which now they are giving SDS a big ole middle finger because they know there will probably be no serious repercussions, that's the bed that SDS created. I will continue to play this year out but they will have to show that they got all of this rectified and begin to rebuild trust with the community before I drop another $100 next year.

I completed the path yesterday, I nabbed Soto. I needed more pop in my outfield since I have Ely Spotlight with a fielding mod at shortstop. I'm definitely going to be watching how SDS responds to this. This is excruciatingly bad. This mini season glitch negatively affected the market and put out of reach the top teir cards. Bans are great, they also need to wipe clean all stubs and any progress to the LS collection. But the question remains what are they going to do for the whole community that had nothing to do with this, the other 98% that was affected. This goes beyond any goodie bag, big flashy flash sale. I have no clue how SDS can regain the trust from their community. It seems as if SDS is in a 6ft by 6ft hole and it seems as the cheats and glitchers are burying them alive. It's a bed that SDS created for themselves and now they are being forced to lay in it.

Back to reality....

Or does it seem things are a little more cheaper in the market? Judge under 500k Ohtani under 700k Rameirz under 100k. Other cards much cheaper. Maybe its just me, I should probably should gobble some of them up.... surely not to last

I played absolutely no H2H games this path, like I said I am 30k from finishing. They absolutely don't need to drop it anymore then it will be too easy. 500k was impossible for me because because I can't live on this game. 400k is a good balance not impossible but still a challenging grind. That where it needs to be. A challenging grind but not out of reach. I find that playing 7 9 inning miniseason games is the sweet spot to grind xp. You get the missions but you also can get more gameplay XP. Playing 28 9 inning games is insanity and I feel that playing 3 inning games are very limiting, sure you can get the volume but the gameplay xp is limited. There is plenty xp floating around my issue is time in my busy life. 400k has been challenging but doable. When I hit it probably sometime this weekend, it will be the first since I bought this game that I feel I am going to be rewarded for my efforts.
