I have to agree with @thebigpapa55_psn gameplay is atrocious this year and content not so great either. I know its a mute point now but why we get a 99 Jackson Holiday card when there so many more deserving players that need a 99. I know I am big O's fan but one of the last 99 cards released is a card of an unproven player, mind-boggling and a waste of a card IMHO.

Valid point, but how about one step further, what's the point of 125 stats when it (IMHO) feels like the stats have been nerfed this year.

I'd think he would have to in order to be competitive in the AL east. I would have to think patience has to be wearing thin for him.

Do you think the Orioles will land Vadez? My heart says yes but my gut says they are going to go with the sum of many parts that is their pitching staff. Elias ain't going to spend that kind of money on a pitcher....sadly. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I just swithched to Crosley I was using Coors and Shippet. Crosley is amazing.

I haven't played online since the end of October. I have a record I think of (I don't really remember )70 something wins and 100 some losses. My point I really suck at online play and doing directional hitting only adds to that. I have complete and total respect for you guys in here that are that good. I saw that video too @talkingben9558_xbl much respect bro!

I agree with OP's sentiment but his execution was a little off. I brought the same thing up on another thread, how can you have a perfect perfect foul ball, pop out and even swing and miss(which did happen to me the other day on a mini season.... I just had to chuckle and said to myself it was stil a 9 pitch strikeout it and was still a successful AB) that's the beauty and complexity of the sport and broken bat to ball mechanics with in the video game. Moments are frustrating some you'll cruise through some not so much. I don't think they are designed to sit back and crush a pitch, I think they're designed to use some strategy and patience. I use directional hitting, because my eyes and hands sometimes at my age don't sync up very well and with zone hitting there's to much going on at one time. When trying to clobber the ball doesn't work after 4 or 5 tries in moments, I try a different strategy be a little more patient and put the directional arrow down or down and away and contact swing with guys who don't have a lot of power and the directional down and inside and normal swing with guys who do have power, and success rates for me are markedly better, is it a night and day difference, no but on average you'll see improvement and less frustration and it will teach you patience, which I personally believe the game rewards heavily on.

I have had some recent success at DQ lately, although it seems as if dried up yesterday evening because it seems as SDS giving out candy peanuts instead because that sweeper likes to gobble mine up.

I started playing this game in 2022 on a switch. I got a PS5 in 2023 it's a night and day difference between the two. This time it's not the game's fault as @talkingben9558_xbl said.

REJOICE ANGELS FANS. ANTHONY RENDON HAS AGREED TO RESTRUCTURE HIS CONTRACT AND TO DEPART FROM THE TEAM.
Yeah you guys also signed Kirby Yates. How anticlimactic. Not an Angels fan, but I nominate the Angels for best off-season just for that.

One of my most disappointing cards (I have several) of the year is Cal Raleigh. I try to like his card but I feel his swing takes forever to get through the strikezone and consequently he groundsout a lot. It's like I have start his swing a half second earlier. I always find my way back to Biz Mackey or Josh Gibson, although that Gary Carter Finest is pretty darn good too.
-
I would have to say that was a good signing as long as he is not our ace. Back end of the rotation 3-5, solid, top of rotation, bad.
-
I just got through my first forever mini season, first Chase pack was Ian Happ and everything else was high 80's Live series. Can't complain.
-
All that is good, gameplay needs to be fixed and then work out from there.

I finished completing HOF Williams collection yesterday. I havent tried him out yet and want to know what are your all's opinions on him. I've been bouncing between Finest Schwarber, Finest Bellinger and Retro Finest Sheffield, kinda of been sticking with Bellinger. I am also 2 cards away from completing the Bautista collection too.

Brian Roberts captain is a singles machine, otherwise the others no bueno.

Awesome work! I actually come here first to get any breaking news on free agency and trades. I also like the commentary, it's a nice touch!

Thank you Phillies for taking him off the market so that the Orioles can stop pursuing an expensive aged power hitter. They need to spend that money on an ace.

Athletics: RF Jose Canseco - "The Chemist"
I had a pretty good chuckle on that one.
Need a good one for Bobby Bonilla.

Orioles: 1B Chris Davis (161 million - 7 years) sorry, O's fans
Probably one of the dumbest contracts, the O's got fleeced. Then they tried to do it again with Tyler O'Neil. They keep spending in all the wrong places. We need starting pitching Mr. Elias.
