Been playing since 16 and this is the worst job I’ve seen from SDS

Not only the unexplainable, undeserved bans

But the plethora of bugs and issues with the game itself like the manage squad menu freezing, attribute wheel being inaccurate, warping pitches, can’t program what a strike is….I could go on

It’s been a flat out garbage job by SDS this year

Hitting is the worst it’s been since 18. They haven’t resolved known issues. Haven’t banned actual cheaters. Banned people who didn’t cheat.

If you sit back and objectively look at what we’ve dealt with from SDS this year, they’re gonna lose a lot of players

And it happened again…great job SDS

25 has been a buggy, menu freezing, warping pitches, inaccurate strike zone, dogshit connection, two different pause timers displaying, blatant cheaters, excuse of video game that SDS should be embarrassed they produced.

Does anyone at your company test anything? Do you work to resolve anything? Gotta make sure those player models are right but let’s continue to not fix the roster screen freezing and attribute wheel showing wrong attributes

Thank god NCAA comes out Thursday. I just unlocked Ted, and I have no desire to play this game. The gameplay/hitting along with the broken mess that is 25 is flat out garbage from SDS. I’m 52-13 in ranked. I don’t give two shits if I lose. What I do care about is how bad this game plays, and the literal plethora of issues with the game itself that SDS refuses to attempt to resolve

The only thing you all semi-improved was bringing back a power creep content model

That’s literally the only positive I can say about this game.

Just simply fed up.

Just played an event game since the new multiplayer program dropped.

Literally every other mission within drop 1 tracked correctly but for whatever reason, the “2025 PXP with batters”, didn’t track at all

Wow. So I’ve used the bat PCI since day 1.

Maybe a week or two ago, I started noticing the pci randomly jumping/glitching up in the zone and back to the middle sometimes. I thought it was my joystick. Now this makes sense

Time to change the PCI it sounds like

How about a ping or connection indicator when on the select pitcher screen or lineup screen? Seems simple to do considering it used to be a thing.

How about improving matchmaking and servers on their end? You can’t convince me that there’s nothing they can’t try to internally upgrade on their side to help with H2H connection

@DemIsE4_XBL you were right from day 1 on this. Online gameplay quality is directly proportional to how good or bad your connection is to someone else

The fact that this connection type is still being used in 2025 by the company who has the sole license for MLB games, is frustrating forsure

I haven’t had a single freeze off this year. But I’ve had plenty of games where you can just tell the connection is bad leading to negative experiences

Is actually stacked…at least position player wise. Reds fans have been treated well so far this year.

Figured I’d finally give the theme team a run in ranked. Faced the new Leiter who is my literal nemesis and the boys managed to come away with a 7-3 W on HOF

Even Johnny Bench contributed with a no doubt homer. With the boost from Bench and Lodolo, the Reds have a nasty lineup.

Was very fun switching things up and running a theme team in ranked.

Steve Finley, the reward for collecting all live series Diamondbacks, has a nice, quick swing

You have to collect X amount of Summer Series players (18 I believe) to earn him

Not a problem! It’s still very doable! Just keep in mind, if you get more than 4 outs that aren’t a strikeout…you gotta restart

Of all the extreme moments I’ve done this year, this one was the easiest imo

Main reason I think GOAT difficulty got so many complaints is due to the inconsistency of connection from one H2H game to the next

One game, GOAT difficulty can seem literally impossible if the connection with your opponent isn’t good. On the flip side, there’s those rare instances on GOAT difficultly where the connection is good, and it provides that fun, next-level difficulty that was intended for the 1%

Until they can ensure that each game in a H2H mode has a good connection, GOAT difficulty will provide a miserable experience more often than not hence the complaints about it and praise of it being removed for now

I somewhat felt this and then had a week away from the game (vacation).

That helped in terms of coming back wanting to play and it was fun grinding the new mini season while simultaneously making progress on all the content released since the last Weekend Classic started

@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL they need to tweak hitting forsure to be a tad less random and more rewarding in Good/Good swings.

If they did that, and called strikes like the game should, gameplay would be fantastic.

The fact that this is called a ball, is pathetic. The fact that it happened in a crucial spot of a ranked game? Infuriating.

Countless, countless times, pitches on the back are called balls and it’s embarrassing that a company responsible for developing and creating an MLB game, can’t even code correctly what a strike is.

This is my biggest gripe. It makes pitching unbelievably frustrating in H2H modes.

SDS, please, go look up the definition of a strike in the rule book of the game. The fact that you claim that the umpire strike zone is “perfect” in H2H play is insulting. Do better. Code the game to record strikes correctly
