Although I posted this in the DD section of the forum, my point of this post was not to compare solely DD to Dynasty

The point im making is that if you compare The Show 24, to what we’re about to get with NCAA 25, it’s evident that SDS heavily lacks innovation and creativeness which is shown in all game modes and content within TS 24

Football is a much more popular sport here in the US over baseball (even though I think baseball is the greatest sport). The market for NCAA 25 is undoubtedly larger than the market for The Show…domestic or international

From the previews it does look pretty good.

Nobody knows much, as far as I have seen, about NCAA's Ultimate Team mode. Essentially most people here seem to be comparing NCAA's Dynasty (franchise) mode to MLB's Diamond Dynasty. It will be interesting to see how much of a cash grab that games Ultimate Team mode will be.

I will admit that NCAAs dynasty mode seems pretty cool with a deep amount of options and gameplay.

How am I an EA “fanboy”? Where did I say it would be game of the year? Have you watched any gameplay footage or read any details about the game modes in EAs campus huddles? [censored] comment

Very good points. This being the case, I have little to no faith in seeing any improvements or innovation come next February

The level of detail and immersion outlined within EA’s Campus Huddle posts for Dynasty, Ultimate Team and Road to Glory really spotlights how lazy SDS is and the lack on innovation they’ve displayed over the last 5-7 years.

Praying SDS moves to new-gen only next year and actually gives some effort into a new game mode, or, making current game modes far more detailed than what they currently regurgitate every year.

Never thought EA would run laps around SDS but here we are. College Football 25 will be the best sports game released in quite some time. Hopefully this motivates SDS to actually put some effort into this dying franchise.

Offline MLB players - The Show is the same game over and over every year. We need new game modes...theres nothing to do.

EA Sports - Releases Madden every summer....no new game modes in 20 years. No 99s given away just for logging into the game. Microtransactions consisting of BUYING a 68 overall that requires 100 games played to make it a 75.....slaps a new skin on Madden and rebrands it NCAA....

People will literally only play it for dynasty mode like they did 10 years ago, which by the way, makes RTTS look like garbage. The ultimate team garbage can kick rocks for all I care.

So basically you're buying a 10 year old game with updated graphics. Sounds like a revolutionary game.

If you’re seriously trying to compare NCAA 14 to what has already been shown for NCAA 25 (with even more gameplay footage/features to be revealed) you’re a clown.

NCAA 25 will be far more advanced and in depth than The Show ever dreams of being, and is clearly more than a “graphics update”

Now you can just add NCAA to that list. I hope the game is good. I always preferred it over Madden. But I see it being no more impactful than the release of the other games. Sure, number will go down and many will flock to the new shiny game but probably not as many as people seem to think.

With NCAA having over a decade hiatus, it’s going to have a much larger, negative impact on MLB The Show’s player base. Can’t compare NCAA coming back after 10 years to annual Madden or 2K

Make sure that it's the right showdown and that it's moments are on all star or higher because if it was veteran then it's the wrong showdown

I haven’t turned the game on since the content release so idk but the posts I saw on Twitter mentioned “extreme showdown”

I’d just stay away from that until it’s either acknowledged (LOL) or until they fix the season 1 collection bug

Either way it would be extremely shitty (no pun intended) to grind out an extreme showdown and get moot for it

With everything that is wrong with the game after this content release, I’d advise just not playing…especially advise against buying packs right now (or ever for that matter)

Don’t think you have to worry about hitting being ruined…a lot more has been ruined by SDS like the game as a whole

Just a heads up to possibly prevent someone from wasting their time: apparently someone posted on Twitter that they completed the new TA Extreme Showdown but no progress applied to Team Affinity..

If true, how much worse can this “content drop” get?
