They put in as an all star collection reward for 15 cards.

A nice stream hyping this would be good but I guess they could not be bothered and some fans will see this and not be bothered and leave for a certain game coming out in like a week. I am not hyping that game or saying players should but IF the Devs and such cannot get hyped for one if not the biggest drop they do during the game cycle then why should we ?? -- even if it is good to great.

SDS do better

Prime example as a tigers fan skubal already has a 99 and Greene doesn’t have a diamond card. So they release a 95 skubal instead of Greene and now the only way Greene gets a great card here is if he somehow wins the mvp of the game which is highly unlikely.

Honestly I dont care about the duplicates. Sure, there are some obviously avoidable ones (Tanner Scott should never have been Ta2.1), but I like building teams of themed cards and all star set allows for that. The game already has far too few earnable cards.

What they really need though is a large dose of new legends. Doesnt need to be A listers, just get as many cheap guys from the 80s, 90s, and 00s as possible. A large chunk of the player base grew up with these guys. That to me is about 1000x more important than 'next gen' updates and where I would want the budget spent, but obviously DD is not the game's only mode

@Dolenz64_XBL right up there with Ludwick, they pick the absolute worst 'legends' and flashbacks. I booted up MLBTS 22 and that was the best Cards legends and flashback roster Ive seen in all the years. Having Albert, Yadi and Waino helped

I don’t know… I imagine SDS makes a 💩 ton of money. They could fix all of this. graphics included or they should be able to. I imagine they have a decent budget. I personally play on an OLED 65’ C9 Tv and everytime I foul or whatever it might be that takes quick movement of the screen my screen lags or whatever it’s callled. Frame rate drops. Sorry for spelling errors I’m being an idiot and texting and driving

SDS doesnt make the money, Sony does. Microtransactions typically go to the publisher. Sony almost certainly also controls SDS's budget.

This year is the most lack luster version of this game I’ve ever played- this is absolutely horrible
