I’ve beaten the A’s stronghold twice and haven’t captured the square
Update: it was cosmetic. I restarted the game and was credited with the square

@CDNMoneyMaker93_XBL search his twitter. It’s a gif from dumb and dumber. And go from there.
@SaveFarris_PSN give yourself more time than you think to get your ps5 set up. I remember mine taking an extraordinarily long time to get set up and configure.
If Shelfy isn’t trolling just to troll/rage bait, I’ve got some news for you about the USA conquest map.
I think the leaderboard rewards are just stubs and packs. A generous amount, but the rewards you want are the first 6 games, so I don’t necessarily think that ranking down to a lower rating to boost your “point differential” if you will, is worth it for anyone unless they just want to stroke their ego and see themselves at the top of a leaderboard; especially when the rewards beyond 6 games aren’t “the best.” Plus, it’ll take 5-6 losses to get from 1000 to the basement. I don’t think anyone that can get to 1000 is going to want to ding their ranked record with 60+ losses over the course of a full game cycle just to be on top of a leaderboard.
@Teak2112_MLBTS I agree. There needs to be some kind of happy medium. Unless they’re going to flood the game with stubs so we can easily buy the rewards through play, the other two modes will die.
Side note: I suspect WS and maybe BR rewards will be available as tier rewards in weekend classic.
@Teak2112_MLBTS with a well drafted team in BR I can grab 7-8 wins. But im not spending stubs if my only incentive is program progress. I’ll take the free option in events. But I’ll focus my time in ranked so im in a better weekend classic tier.
As far as events, depending on when they start I’ve knocked out all 15-20 wins in a few hours and have been able to sell the reward for huge profit. Which is fine for that aspect of grinding. I don’t think that changes. With the way it’s set up now, I just need to grind the program up to the next reward drop, and I’m done. I don’t need to grind out an event for wins.
It just takes away the replay value of the online modes.
It’s cool for those who can get there. They don’t get a specific card that no one else can get, but they still get a reward that says I can kick your [censored] 6 ways from Sunday.
It’s a massive L. You have to go 10-0 or make WS to get the reward. Which is reverting back to what it used to be. But now what’s my incentive to play BR and events? I get the player rewards, and I’m done.
I know they said they’re going to include them in later programs but by the time I can earn the WS reward and BR reward it’s no longer usable. I understand the power creep still makes them relevant, but why take away a good thing with replay value and kneecap things? BR just became infinitely harder because someone grinding a program is going to stick to events instead of using 1500 stubs to get beat up by a goon.
I can go on and on, but SDS dropped the ball big time with this.
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN you’re a million% confusing game co and program xp. They are not the same thing, and one doesn’t independently impact the other.
That being said, if you’re continuously hitting the xp cap, you should probably reevaluate some things. I absolutely play the game too much, but I’ve only hit the xp cap a handful of times and it was usually a sign I should maybe consider doing something else for a bit. I also can’t understand why you’d want to speed run the game
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN it’s got to do with the way the attributes scale. If they want a player to be at a certain level offensively/defensively they have to make the compromise on an OVR being a little higher
I’ve got 1.7 million and probably another 1.7 in cards I could sell.
I’m pretty sure Ashley just misspoke
@GoozeFn_PSN id agree to an extent. If you can sell a gatekeeper and knockout a few other diamonds it’s worth it. But keeping them is also a means to an end as it’s 100k+ stubs you don’t need down the road.
@BalsamicArrow88_XBL I’m plenty good at the game, thank you.
I think you need to go back and rewatch the feature premiere again if those were your takeaways.
The DQ they played was the tutorial. The Soto and Judge are guaranteed drops. The real DQ’s are infinitely farmable and the rewards are sellable.
The rewards for weekend league were just place holders. They mentioned that multiple times. It’s also 6+ games with massive rewards that you would theoretically be playing anyway.
@Orcin_MLBTS the correct answer is yes. Sell everything that’s not nailed to the wall. If you pull someone you really want, hold them, but don’t collect them. If you pull a gatekeeper, it’s 50/50, but assuming Shohei/Trout/Judge are the gatekeepers, it’s honestly up to you.
But the general idea is “everything must go” and then buy the lower level cards, collect them, and start chipping away at the diamonds.
@dbrooks1869_XBL I think Ashley just misspoke. They should all be 2 eastern, and the dev tourney will probably be 11 or noon.
@icebergslim7669_PSN when the good/glitchy cards are all switch hitters, that’s what you’re going to get. My end game is all switch hitters and Jeter, no captain.
