With the increase number of balls being thrown and my walks being way up compared to last year. SDS can you please add walk moments. (This is just a joke. I’m just kidding, not kidding).

I say this every year, but the CPU’s pick off success rate is absurd!

I’ve beaten every single moment in this game but for some reason this one is impossible for me. I get 2 in my first 2 AB and then nothing. Ty Tice and Ross Stripling have my number I guess

Stripling was the only guy where I sat upper to middle of plate. All the rest I sat down.

My trouble with Stripling is, he hardly throws any strikes

Apparently I sit on nothing. I always find myself late on fastballs and early on off speed. It’s a curse.

If you are using guess pitch, don’t. If you guess wrong hitting is nerfed bad. I was having the same problem, scoring 3-4 runs a game. Turned off guess pitch, Im scoring double digits every game.

Is the final showdown against Johnson on Pro difficultly? Because it’s 100% not pro, his pitching is lights out and the fielding is unreal. Literally got thrown out at home on a ball I hit to the warning track with 65 speed on 3rd.

So, I’ve been playing the show for 10 plus years. I don’t remember the year that guess pitch was introduced, but I believe it was a new feature that everyone used. As time went on guess pitch wasn’t used in the game, but I always tried to keep my game settings the same year after year. I just turned it on in the settings, and have been using it out of habit for years. It is time to turn the page and move on. RIP guess pitch.

Alright, I figured out the issue. I was trying to use guess pitch. As soon as I stopped using that, I smashed anything close to me. It seems if you use guess pitch, and guess incorrectly, your hitting is nerfed significantly.

For whatever reason, I am horrible at hitting on rookie. I literally score more runs and get more hits on all star. I feel like I can only score 5-6 runs a game on rookie. I hit the ball solid on rookie, but the ball never finds gaps and seems to always go within a few steps of the outfielder regardless how solid the contact is. Does anyone else feel my pain?

I did in the past, but the past few week have been brutal for me, even with almost perfect timing, I can’t tell you how many pop outs to the catcher or infield I’ve had. That does even count the flat out misses. Even if you have never used pure analog, I feel you will do better with that, then hitting with directional. Directional feels random with no rhyme or reason when you will make solid contact (even sitting on a fastball down the middle).

I agree, I feel hitting is unforgiving right now. I just played show down, and if my timing wasn’t perfect, I wasn’t getting on base.

Yes, I’m well aware. Another favorite is when you need an xbh, and you smoke it in the gap and the runner just stands half way to second. He then trots to second and stands there while the ball is sitting on the warning track.

Just an FYI, if you are going to have moments such as, getting 4 hits in a game. That is fine, but I have to see more than 1 strike in 5 at bats.

SDS needs to figure it out, some of these moments are hard enough, but then you have to deal with outside factors. For example you have to get multiple extra base hits to complete a moment, you drive it in the gap and the base runner just stands halfway to second. An 8 year old could tell that ball isn’t being caught. Then to top it off, the base runner just strolls into second and stands there not even worried about going to third. Thanks for the single off the top of wall. After the 10th time of trying to complete the moment.
